Martha Murray

Martha Murray's guest rating of 4.74 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Martha’s Sea Street home was the perfect location for our family of six. The house was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials and fresh linens to games for both kids and adults. The outdoor amenities were outstanding, including a lovely patio, yard games, a new outdoor shower, and a shed filled with beach gear—chairs, umbrellas, beach bags, boogie boards, and toys. We never had to worry about bringing anything. The home also offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax, which was especially appreciated on rainy days and quiet mornings. Martha was helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be better—a quick 5-minute walk to Sea Street Beach, an easy stroll to Woolfies for breakfast, and directly across the street from Sundae School and Wee Packet. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to families looking for a comfortable, well-equipped Cape rental.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. It was stocked with even more amenities than were listed, especially for beach days, games, and everyday living, definitely don’t overpack if you can avoid it. Linen rental was quick and easy with them waiting at the door when we got there. The beach was just a quick, easy walk away, and there were plenty of restaurants, playgrounds, and other attractions just a short drive from the house. We truly appreciated how family-friendly and well-equipped everything was. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Super nice place to stay! The beds are comfy and the place was clean! I will say the first floor with the 2.5 bathrooms is a little weird with the two toilets connecting to the same shower. But otherwise the place is super clean and just such a nice stay and the kitchen is fully stocked with spices and pots and pans and everything you need! I would definitely stay here again.

This house was exactly what we were looking for during our off-season trip to the Cape. It was extremely clean and spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay. The basement arcade games and electronic dart board were a fun bonus, and there were lots of board games, books, and puzzles to enjoy. We also bundled up and explored the Sea Street Beach which was a quick walk from the house. In the summer, it would be even better since it is also within walking distance of Sundae School for ice cream. We loved Seven Gables and definitely plan to stay here again in the summer!

While the house itself is large and in a great location, I can't help but share our disappointment throughout our stay. Although noted in the description, we were disappointed by the steep fees for linens and absolutely zero necessities onsite. No dish soap, hand soap, hand towels, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. For an expensive airbnb like this one - you'd expect some needs to be met. Even more frustrating, the linens were delivered in a box rather than being placed on the beds—especially surprising given the extra charge. To make matters worse, the initial set arrived stained and covered in hair, and the towels had an unpleasant fishy smell. Beyond the linen issues, the house felt disorganized and didn’t comfortably accommodate a group; the main living room area only had a small futon that seats two people, making it difficult to relax or spend time together indoors. Overall we were disappointed with this Airbnb experience.

The location and view on the water are spectacular. We loved the easy access to the beach. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas. The separate residences allowed for convenient and spacious accommodations. We are a group that loves to cook. The utensils, cooking pans and serving vessels were lacking. Patking was generous. Overall, we had a great time. You will provide toilet paper, paper towels, lsundry detergent and trash bags.

Martha Murray’s team was very helpful and communicative. The home is beautiful and very clean. Super spacious with plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen. Convenient bathrooms and washer/dryer a plus. However, the walls are thin and you can hear everything from all floors / footsteps are loud. The neighbors are very strict and will call HOA about every small thing. The beach isn’t a beach at high tide - only a small pathway and it is not directly accessible from the condo. Lots of seaweed too. At low tide it fits maybe a dozen people comfortably. There is a beach within 5 mins walking down the road that is public. Overall we enjoyed our stay and for the right group this house is perfect!

House was beautiful and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen appliances were high end but was a little surprising to not find some essentials (a second oven pan… or pot holders that weren’t gloves!). Pool and outdoor space was great, only issue was that when we asked to increase the pool temp they told us it would be a $500 surcharge… a little ridiculous given the price for the stay. After another conversation they agreed to cover it, but it was over 3 days before anyone actually came over to change it. Not faulting Martha Murray for it but was a little frustrating. Bike path proximity (right through the back yard) was a definite plus, and there were hiking trails by the Bass River, but the area in Dennis was pretty industrial. Martha Murray’s office was very responsive and helped us out very quickly one afternoon when we were locked out. Overall a fun stay and a nice property.
