“We enjoyed the Honeyscape and our stay for the most part. The atmosphere was beautiful, the place was clean and the hot tub was perfect. We would have preferred if the hot tub area was a little more private as there is another drive right next to it that was pretty active during our stay. We loved the views and being able to sit on the porch and feel the peace around us even with a main road right below. Our biggest downfall was the bed though which is why we gave the overall experience a 4 star. For the cost of the stay this was a huge disadvantage. It was very uncomfortable unfortunately due to dipping down in the middle and seems like some broken springs throughout the bed. We ended up having to split up at one point and sleep on the couch. This stay was our honeymoon.”

“The stay was okay, but I ran into issues the plumbing wasn't working properly and the kitchen wasn't well stocked otherwise everything was fine”

“This home is in serious need of updating, cleaning, and maintenance. There's a very bad pest issue with both mice and cockroaches. I folded a poncho on the floor of an upstairs bedroom and it was covered in bug parts that had not been vacuumed well for a long time. When we unpacked our suitcases we found lots of cockroach eggs and have had a great expense to try to remediate the situation so we don't have an issue in our own homes. We trapped 3 mice during our four day stay, had a ton of food eaten off the counters and after spraying the perimeter of our bedrooms, woke up to 6 dead cockroaches.”

“The location is wonderful, peaceful, and quiet. The listing states four bedrooms but it’s actually 3 bedrooms and a loft area. The en-suite bathroom on the main level had black mold and was not cleaned. The kitchen outlets under the cabinets did not work at all. Coffee pot was missing. Drawers in kitchen broken. Sliding glass door was so hard to open it wasn’t even worth going outside. The basement spelled like mold. The home needs a lot of TLC and needs to be cleaned better.”

“The code given was incorrect and with no wifi very difficult to contact the host. The description said 24/7 Wifi which we never had and they told us the company would come to repair but did not while we were there. Most of us had work to do on our laptops. Mold in the jets in the tub, and they did not work. None of the tv's worked in the bedrooms. Some Remotes had no batteries and one had duck tape on it. A rocking chair broke while one of us set in it. Fortunately she was not hurt. I would not recommend this cabin if you need wifi!!!!”

“We went on this trip for our honeymoon expecting a great place to unwind after all the wedding prep instead we had a hot tub that wouldn’t heat and a shower that leaked water all over the floor. The hot tub had a cover that consisted of a few cut up pieces of styrofoam and a tarp. We attempted to put the “cover” on to help heat but we were getting styrofoam everywhere so we said forget it. And with the shower we informed the host but stated we would just deal with it because we didn’t want someone showing up while we were trying to enjoy our honeymoon. Overall this place would have been good place if the hot tub would have worked considering that’s why we booked the house. The host was easy to communicate with and they responded very quickly.”

“The hosts will require you pay either a non refundable damage protection fee or they will put a $300 hold on your card for 5 days. This is not disclosed anywhere on the listing and when I asked questions about it they lied and said that it was a requirement for all airbnbs. Which is obviously not true. That interaction made me feel that they are scammy and deceptive, as I do not appreciate being lied to. The only reason I went forward with the booking is because it was literally the last place available in Knoxville. I would not stay here again even IF it was the last place available in Knoxville. They sent a lot of extra uninformative info via message and messaged me while we were at the wedding we were in town for to make sure we checked out on time. Everything they messaged was obvious and part of the listing info. Their behavior was as if they were doing us a favor by us staying at their place instead of us being paying guests. The bed was also very uncomfortable.”

“Overall Dylan and Suzanne are great hosts. The place was super cute and had everything we needed for 4 nights. Unfortunately we did face a lot of issues. Right away I noticed that the electric couch did not work. Every button pushed made an extremely loud noise, with no movement. Then the smell downstairs from the washer. I noticed water on the glass. Meaning it was closed after the last load was done and not aired out. I found lots of mold in the lip of the washer and in the seals. The mildew smell was overwhelming. They were super receptive and did a great job assisting me with the issues. Sad to say I don’t think I’d stay here again.”

“After booking we were prompted to pay either a $70 one time nonrefundable fee or $300 held pending no damages were found 10 days later. This fee was not disclosed on the original listing. Condos and apartments are supposed to be listed as condos or apartments, not entire homes. It is located on a golf course with 18 other units. Listing didn’t mention it is a 300 yard walk from the parking with four elevated ramps. Also, the address that was sent over sent us to Dixie stampede in pigeon Forge because it did not have the E for East in the address so it took us 28 minutes in the wrong direction. Also the listing says pigeon Forge is only 9 miles from here, but it’s 18 from where I stand in the parking lot. Air BNB let us cancel due to all of these inaccuracies. The host would not cancel and planned on keeping our money.”

“It's literally okay. TVs and WiFi didn't work. They said someone was coming to check never did then the refund they gave me was literally only 50 bucks. Only thing good about it was the views but I'd rather just book another place with the same if not better views.”
