“The hosts will require you pay either a non refundable damage protection fee or they will put a $300 hold on your card for 5 days. This is not disclosed anywhere on the listing and when I asked questions about it they lied and said that it was a requirement for all airbnbs. Which is obviously not true. That interaction made me feel that they are scammy and deceptive, as I do not appreciate being lied to. The only reason I went forward with the booking is because it was literally the last place available in Knoxville. I would not stay here again even IF it was the last place available in Knoxville. They sent a lot of extra uninformative info via message and messaged me while we were at the wedding we were in town for to make sure we checked out on time. Everything they messaged was obvious and part of the listing info. Their behavior was as if they were doing us a favor by us staying at their place instead of us being paying guests. The bed was also very uncomfortable.”

“This was perfect for a weekend stay in Knoxville. The location in Old City Knoxville was quiet, and just a couple minutes walk from Market Square, Gay Street, and about a 15 minute walk from the world’s fair park. There are a couple cute stores and restaurants on the same street and even a coffee place (Jack’s) we stopped at a few time for some tasty coffee! Not to mention there is so much adventure to be found within just a short drive. The loft itself was clean, and fully furnished with everything we needed. No keys needed only codes for the building and door which made things nice and easy. Parking is a short 3 minute walk away. All in all, exactly what we were looking for!”

“Great location, lots of shops, bars & restaurants in walking distance. The unit was clean, spacious and had just the things you need. Worked out perfectly with a family of four! We didn’t have any issues with parking and would stay again.”
