“We enjoyed the Honeyscape and our stay for the most part. The atmosphere was beautiful, the place was clean and the hot tub was perfect. We would have preferred if the hot tub area was a little more private as there is another drive right next to it that was pretty active during our stay. We loved the views and being able to sit on the porch and feel the peace around us even with a main road right below. Our biggest downfall was the bed though which is why we gave the overall experience a 4 star. For the cost of the stay this was a huge disadvantage. It was very uncomfortable unfortunately due to dipping down in the middle and seems like some broken springs throughout the bed. We ended up having to split up at one point and sleep on the couch. This stay was our honeymoon.”

“We were not notified that the tub nozzle was backwards til after I mentioned there not being hot water in the tub. The dishes needs to be replaced from the well water stains. Needs to be mentioned that it has well water that smells bad. Where the bears had been into the outside trash, there was trash all outside looking down from the jacuzzi. Not very pleasant looking at trash while trying to enjoy yourselves. No grass for the dogs to go to the bathroom other than the steep hill in front or where the trash is at. Windows were dirty when looking out. The tub surround is not made for a tub is flakes off in the tub water and don’t even try to use the jets on the jacuzzi tub inside. . Could use some updates on pillows and blankets. The picture you see in the advertisement of the place looking at the smokies is misleading. It is a view from the road coming down the hill. You don’t get that view from the porch deck. You do see the mountains though. Still a pretty. The beds are comfortable”

“The code given was incorrect and with no wifi very difficult to contact the host. The description said 24/7 Wifi which we never had and they told us the company would come to repair but did not while we were there. Most of us had work to do on our laptops. Mold in the jets in the tub, and they did not work. None of the tv's worked in the bedrooms. Some Remotes had no batteries and one had duck tape on it. A rocking chair broke while one of us set in it. Fortunately she was not hurt. I would not recommend this cabin if you need wifi!!!!”

“We went on this trip for our honeymoon expecting a great place to unwind after all the wedding prep instead we had a hot tub that wouldn’t heat and a shower that leaked water all over the floor. The hot tub had a cover that consisted of a few cut up pieces of styrofoam and a tarp. We attempted to put the “cover” on to help heat but we were getting styrofoam everywhere so we said forget it. And with the shower we informed the host but stated we would just deal with it because we didn’t want someone showing up while we were trying to enjoy our honeymoon. Overall this place would have been good place if the hot tub would have worked considering that’s why we booked the house. The host was easy to communicate with and they responded very quickly.”
