“We had a exceptional stay in Kihei. The apartment was nicely located on a quiet road next to the beach. Greatly equipped and spacious for the two of us. Served as a perfect basecamp for exploring any point of Maui or for a lazy beach day.”

“This space was perfect for a long weekend in Bellingham. We were there for a wedding and my partner had to work one day. The small but bright office was great. It allowed me to have space and move about while he worked and took calls. The space is functional and cozy. We appreciated the location and off street parking. There was some noise from the busy street but not enough to be bothersome for us.”

“We have stayed here twice now. This time the rental agency came off as an inflexible corporate agency as opposed to the friendly, accommodating single owners we've experienced on airbnb before. Additionally, the hot tub was broken and unusable the entire stay. But this is a gorgeous property to be sure.”

“The unit was very nice, location was just outside the hustle of Kona. However, we were able to hear the upstairs neighbors every move and the unit next door was renovating from 7am-7pm 2 days while we were there and it was very loud. We also did not have hot water at all 2 of the mornings which was very annoying.”

“Our stay with Gather Vacations was disappointing. We found multiple cockroaches inside the villa, including one in the kitchen utensil drawer. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness and made it difficult to relax and enjoy our vacation. Management moved us to a larger unit, which we appreciated, but the disruption and concerns about bringing roaches home in our luggage affected the experience. Follow-up communication was also frustrating, with calls and emails going unanswered. We documented the issues with photos and video. For the price paid, we expected better cleanliness and more responsive service. Based on our experience, we would not book with Gather Vacations again.”

“The view from the balcony was beautiful and the ac worked nice. Not too loud. Some cons, The knives in the kitchen were extremely dull, all of them. I could barely cut my pineapple. The bed was not comfortable, my husband and I had an extremely hard time sleeping, the pillows felt like cheap Wallmart pillows. Stiff and flat the bed was well used and uneven. You will need a car to stay at this place if you want to explore. It’s not exactly walking distance to very many destinations. Strict on not bringing sand into the house so a vacuum would be a help! They have you wash the towels, dry them , and then wash sheets which is a little complicated especially with an early flight and needing to shower in the morning but also wake up early enough to make sure they are all washed, on top of the cleaning and packing you already have to do before you leave the place. It kinda ruins your last day/evening. Overall the place wasn’t super terrible. Just wasn’t for me.”

“The location is incredible. Unbeatable beach access and easy stroll to the Ritz. We loved the lanai and eating meals with the ocean view. The unit itself was clean and comfortable. However, a few things impacted our stay. The unit’s dryer was out of order when we arrived on 9/14 (and was apparently tagged as not working since 8/29) but that was not communicated to us. The host offered the dryer in a nearby empty unit, but that required us to walk other there to do laundry for several days and coordinate maintenance visits. Soundproofing was also an issue, as noted in other reviews. The unit connects to the one next door via an internal door, so we could easily hear music and chatter from the group next door. Finally on our last night, a large wedding reception was set up on the lawn directly in front of our lanai. While it didn't run past quiet hours, the DJ, music, and speeches (and fire dances & drums - which were fun to watch...) made bedtime very challenging for our baby.”
