“Beautiful location with stunning views from the lanai. The room was exactly as described and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed. The resort itself was gorgeous. The walk down to the private beach was a bit steep, but a nice little workout, and well worth it. We happened to be there when the hurricane approached Kauai, and want to say that our thoughts are with the local community, who are dealing with far greater losses and a much longer road to recovery than any inconvenience we experienced. The resort staff were extraordinary under difficult circumstances, and we're grateful for how they looked after guests while also dealing with their own community's needs. We got out as soon as flights allowed, and we hope to return and support the island again once things have recovered.”

“Gather representative Sophia was great. Very helpful and responsive. There was plenty of beach equipment and Sophia provided more. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment & spices. We've stayed at another Gather condo in the same development in the past & had no complaints. It is not great for people with mobility issues as there are fairly steep stairs (6 or 7 to upstairs and 6 or 7 to downstairs) & no handrails. There were no suitcase stands to set suitcases on. We left 4 days early from our planned 2 week stay due to Hurricane Lowell. Notified Sophia before & on the day we left, but due to communication outages, she couldn't tell Gather. Gather rep called me later & I mentioned some of our issues. Probably gave me a bad review as a result! Other issues are resolvable and I will notify Gather privately.”
