Evonify Stays
4.67Visit website
Evonify Stays's guest rating of 4.67 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Trip cost me $300 and an additional $250 for THEIR insurance, where on here in Airbnb they just say it’s $300… why not put the whole total as $550?? No refund received back and a whole lot of miscommunication. Words can’t explain the bill I went through with these people and Airbnb.”airbnb

“FALSE ACCUSATIONS - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE The property had a noticeable unpleasant smell throughout the stay, which affected the overall experience. After checkout, the host made questionable accusations about towel stains that felt like an attempt to withhold additional money. The conduct came across as unethical and operating in bad faith. Additionally, this was the only Airbnb experience we’ve had where an extra “security deposit” had to be paid through the host’s private external website after full payment was already made via Airbnb. Check-in details and entry codes were only released after this payment, which felt misleading and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience seemed more focused on extracting additional payments than providing proper hospitality. Would not recommend.”airbnb

“I would have given this Airbnb 5 stars if it weren't for the "glitch" that occurred. The first night we got there at around 1am and walked in to the unit they provided instructions for and it was already occupied. So we walked in on a man in the living room which as you can imagine was incredibly uncomfortable. Thankfully the man was awake and understanding of the situation. I called customer service and they said there must have been a glitch that sent me the incorrect unit info. They right away provided us the correct unit and we were able to get in with no problems. However, the situation was unacceptable and should have never happened. I asked for compensation and they only compensated me $40 "as a gesture of goodwill". Although they provided the correct unit info right away, I would never stay at any of their properties again as the whole situation was uncomfortable and completely avoidable if they had the correct systems in place.”airbnb

“I SPENT $1.3K SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO — AVOID EVONIFY CO-HOST AIRBNBS Our family of three checked in on April 27 and left by the next day noon (less than 24hrs) while we booked for 7 days. The living room sofa was broken, and the floors were damaged and noisy. The bathroom is small and the only place with a mirror. The bedroom had NO desk, NO chair, and NO dresser. I requested clean towels and bedding in advance, but the closet hangers were dusty so we had to wash them ourselves. I doubt if they did. I also experienced bed bugs bites after one night. I asked for a partial refund since we left early. They initially said they would process it after we moved out, but later said they could not. Honestly I do not expect any money back. A nearby 4-star hotel costs about the SAME. Stupid me didn’t choose hotel this time simply cause they didn’t have double beds the first night.”airbnb

“I stayed at this property recently and, while the listing photos are accurate in terms of layout, the actual condition of the unit is noticeably run down and lacks proper maintenance. There is a clear need for deep cleaning and general upkeep, as many areas appear worn and not well cared for. I shared photos and concerns with the host during my stay, but was told that they did not see any issues, which was disappointing given the condition. Communication could definitely be improved when addressing guest feedback. Additionally, check-in is set at 5:00 PM, and an earlier check-in at 3:00 PM required an extra $35 fee, which may be something future guests should be aware of. Overall, this place has potential, but it needs significant attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience to justify the stay.”airbnb

“This was by far the worst Airbnb experience I’ve had. Check-in was confusing and poorly designed. The garage keypad was unstable and difficult to use from a car, and there was no clear way to enter the building after parking; the garage exit door was locked, forcing me (and others) to climb over a concrete wall with luggage. Instructions mentioned a back entrance that was hard to find, adding further confusion. The unit had ants in every room immediately upon check-in. I reported it right away with photos and requested a refund. Instead, I was told to wait ~10 hours for a cleaner. The “fix” was just spraying Raid—no actual cleaning—and ants continued to appear, along with dead ants left behind. The host minimized the issue in a condescending and callous way and offered no meaningful resolution. Airbnb offered only ~$20 out of $900+ booking total. I left after one night. Avoid this host if you expect a clean, properly managed, and accurately represented stay.”airbnb

“My experience was highly disappointing as the property does not match the listing photos at all. The apartment is significantly smaller than advertised; the bedroom is not the one shown in the pictures, and basic features like the dining area and the kitchen island were completely missing. To make matters worse, there was visible mold on the bathroom walls and the paint was peeling off, which is a serious hygiene concern. The management was the most frustrating part. I was notified of changes at the very last minute, leaving me with no time to find alternative accommodations. Communication was extremely difficult; since I don’t have a local number and was redirected to external apps, I felt completely unprotected and without an effective channel to report these issues immediately. I do not recommend this place if you expect to receive what is shown in the photos or if you value professional customer service.”airbnb
