Distinctive Beach Rentals

“Location is incredible, right on the beach. Beach was easy to access, nice amenities, close to restaurants! Only thing that was a little shocking was the very limited supplies that they set you up with. They provide you with all the appliances, but non of the materials for them to function. We just had to make a couple more trips to the grocery store. But overall it was a great place to stay, would recommend!!”

“Overall, this was fine. Plenty of room and clean condo. Rental company was good & communication was easy. Sadly, the master bed was terrible. Squeaked with every light movement and just overall not comfortable. Seemed old. Pool/pool deck was very spacious and nice. It’s not really on the beach - which was a bummer. It’s a good 200 yard walk thru 1 foot deep sand to get to waters edge. Views were still pretty tho. It is close to Lovers Key State Park, which was nice and a great place to go to beach. However, not close to many bars, grocery, fast food, or restaurants so lots of driving/ride sharing. Overall, positives: very quiet/not crowded. Overall, negatives: master bed was just bad.”

“Overall, we had a really great stay! The condo was exactly as described and very clean. My only complaint is minor, regarding the toilet paper/trash bag situation, as only 24 hours' worth (roughly) is provided upon check-in, which means you need to buy additional toilet paper and trash bags to get through your stay. We were there for four nights and bought a six-pack of toilet paper because that's the smallest we could find, along with a roll of trash bags, all of which we left behind in the condo upon checkout because we couldn't bring them home with us. The last thing to note is that they require 48 hours' notice to request early check-in or late check-out, which would be fine, but that information isn't posted anywhere. We reached out 24 hours in advance to request a later checkout, and we were denied due to this requirement that we were not aware of. If I had known, I could have reached out within the required timeframe. All in all, we would stay here again!”

“Close to beach, 4-5 min easy walk. Unit was clean. The balcony overlooked some greenery and the Guard house. It didn't have a grill or table as stated in discrption. Getting in was hard past guard gate. There was no parking pass in unit. Told no longer needed. The gate house didn't have us on list? Took us a few days to get straight, back n forth with customer service. Note this sounds like it was a new sequirity service, and policies. The unit was nice it is above a daycare center, so if you like to nap after a day at beach be ready for loud kids and loud knocks on floor, kids being kids. Kitchen had all you need to prepair meals nicely equipped. Pool was nice had all to ourselves on a weekday. Close to good hiking, food and public beaches. 25 min to St Augustine.”

“We loved the location, very close to the beach! However supplies were minimal, with no extra toilet paper, trash bags or towels, and no laundry detergent... One bedroom blanket also had a bloodstain. The required HOA forms and parking passes we had to print weren’t clearly communicated beforehand. Great location, but cleanliness, supplies and upfront communication could use improvement.”

“A nightmare. We were told ON THE DAY as my husband was driving to this location there is no stove just a hot plate!! EVERTHING was wet. We had NO idea if you fail to empty the dehumidifier EVERYTHING will stay wet. My husband EMPTIED it MULTIPLE times a day. We didn't even know there WAS a dehumidifier and you HAVE to emptied it, it's not optional!! All the food we brought to cook for 8 meals and 2 people was useless!! No one told us that the door code needed a check mark for it to work!! 30 minutes later we got in!!!!!”

“I expected more from what I paid. Broken beach chair filled with sand, comforter was stained, mold along master shower, minimal towels No suggestions about area, ie restaurants, shopping, tourist sites No check out instructions other than time to leave Would recommend a welcome basket with water, snacks, garbage bags, place to take garbage Just disappointing 1 major positive was the view!! The ocean & weather were amazing”

“Clean home, super comfortable beds, pool was a major win and great location. Legit bare minimum on cleaning/starting supplies and AC was not allowed to go under 72. Which is still fairly warm at night. We loved the master bath but feel we could have used more towels. The couches could use a serious upgrade so relaxing in the evening would be more enjoyable.”

“AVOID THIS PROPERTY. This property is a DISASTER. The house was clearly not cleaned or inspected before we arrived. We found animal feces (poop) inside the house, and after we were told the problem had been taken care of, we found more animal feces, which meant the issue was never really resolved. We also dealt with a clogged shower, clogged kitchen sink, broken lights, a dirty and damaged couch, mold on baseboards, infested with insects, dirty and stained couch, moisture on the walls, and a laundry room full of rust, spiders, cobwebs, and more animal feces. The management company took days to take action, made promises they didn't keep, and showed no urgency despite the sanitation concerns. We spent our vacation dealing with maintenance issues instead of relaxing. In the end, we left early because we no longer felt comfortable having our family stay there.”
