“Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. We love going to the coast during our Fall break in October because the beach is quiet and much less packed. The weather is milder than summer and we enjoy the beach and the fishing pier in Terramar. I was a bit disappointed to hear that the elevator was not for guest use. While it wasn’t explicitly advertised, it was shown in the photo and my elderly dog had to stay in the downstairs game room the entire stay because we couldn’t get him up the stairs. The location of this home was slightly inconvenient due to not being close to the entrance and beach access. We ended up having to drive because of the awkward location. Also, there was no dishwasher which was more of an annoyance than a problem. Our biggest complaint was the beds!! They were the most uncomfortable beds and we hardly slept at all during the stay. The owner was very responsive we were appreciative of the home, and overall, it was ok. However, we probably won’t stay at this home again.”

“The place wasn’t terrible, we had some ants arrive in the kitchen, there were holes in the floor that were covered with plywood, and the master bedroom had broken blinds. Luckily the place was well set, lots of towels and beds, and the A/C was fantastic! Overall not a bad place, but I’m not entirely sure it was worth the price. The San Luis resort would have been cheaper.”

“This was a wonderful location but missing a few amenities. We were kept up by dog barking in rental next door and by people going up and down stairs with luggage. Very old building. Which explains a lot. Only one bathroom and has a huge step up to get to it . Overall it was a good stay . We loved being able to walk everywhere.”

“The location is great - peaceful & easy beach access. The facility could use some attention. A coat of paint would do wonders for both the interior & exterior. Wi-fi was unreliable. Seemed like all of the units shared one router. I ended up using my hotspot mostly.”

“I typically don’t write bad reviews, but this place needs to be shared about. The property does NOT match the listing photos. The photos show a bright, clean home, but the reality was scratched walls with holes, dirty vents, and dishes that had to be rewashed before use. The dishwasher had stagnant water and smelled terrible. We booked this home because we planned to spend our time there enjoying the amenities. The game room had no game consoles, the swinging basket chairs shown in the photos were missing, and there weren’t enough dining chairs for everyone. The biggest disappointment was the pool, which was a main reason we booked. It had a large air bubble, torn liner, and what appeared to be dirt and sand. When we went to use it, we discovered what we thought was dirt was actually black mold and algae. We couldn’t use the amenities we paid for and had to contact Airbnb due to safety concerns. We hope the owners update the photos and properly clean and repair the property and pool”

“I made the most of trip and Sam was very helpful in assistance with that, however there were issues during the stay. The home was not as clean as advertised and the some amenities were not accessible(BBQ Grill, Foosball Table, Hot Water). The unit is beautiful, the area is in a close proximity to the beach, they have almost all streaming services which is amazing. Despite my issues, I ended up having a great time so the stay is what you make of it.”

“We booked this place based on the pictures & amenities, such as the pool & fishing pier. The communication was wonderful most of the time besides trying to locate the pool fob. We never gained access to the amenities. When we arrived it was easy to locate & enter; however, it was the dirtiest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. There was hair on the floor, rugs, showers, bedding, etc. We found trash under the bed when we realized two of the beds were broken. We also found trash in the bathrooms… the countertops seemed wiped off but nothing else was clean. Cleaning rags were even left out. There was a lot of damaged items. After reporting damages, we were asked if maintenance could come in. We were also asked if the cleaners could come back; however, we had already cleaned as much as possible. There were a lot of things we had to do like documenting damages after being asked & clean which cut into our time. Due to having 3 kids, one being a breastfed newborn, we didn’t feel it was appropriate”

“The beach was amazing BUT the images didn't match the property. There were lose boards and a huge hole in the balcony. We had a toddler with us so it was unsafe. The pool was green and the metal around the top was rusted and falling into the pool again making it unsafe for the toddler. We found finger nail clippings in the window seal in the loft and hair in the shower walls. The coffee pot had left over water in it. The washer and dryer stained our clothes because the sign stating that it does was not very visible.”

“the place is not worth it at all. It was very dirty, couch had stains all over it and floors turned out feet black when we walked bare foot. Bathroom has black mold in corner and bedrooms was very dirty. I was not happy with our stay at all. There was a constant alarm going off from the time we arrived until we left and my husband got a migraine from it and could not sleep. We are trying to get our money back bc clearly we did not enjoy our stay at all. They did not supply any coffee for guest and extrememly rude people. I have contacted Airbnb regarding this issue. Do not stay at this place or any places they manage.”
