“Everything was great”

“The backyard of this property is beautiful. But the inside has a lot of wear and tear. The bed sheets had not been changed, hair, stains and dirt in the beds. There were dead roaches throughout the home. Overall not worth the price due to not feeling comfortable laying in dirty beds.”

“The home was dirty and we had to clean the first day we were there. There was trash pilled up outside, causing excessive bugs - it was gross. The house itself feels run down and cheap. The appliances were not all working and the host didn’t help. There was issues with parties being thrown at the properties around us, making it hard for our children to sleep. All in all, we learned Beach Box is a grossly inconsiderate company and should be avoided at all costs. They do not care about a quality stay - they just try to churn as many people in and out as possible. It’s all about the profit for them. Stay far away from these kind of listings, the lower price just isn’t worth it.”

“The pool and fire pit were great! However the house needs a lot of maintenance. The floors were in horrible shape and not convinced the house is being cleaned adequately, since we found a load of laundry and ear pods left by previous renters and cigarette butts left all over the ground outside. The furniture is very very run down and kitchen lacked basic supplies (can opener, pitcher). The dock lights did not work for fishing and the WiFi was slow. There were several Godzilla sized water bugs that were inside the living and dining room. We ended up leaving a day early because of all these issues.”

“this was the worst stay I ever experienced through Airbnb. It was my birthday and Mother’s Day weekend first time in Galveston, Texas at the beach we felt rushed and rushed out. It wasn’t worth the day. We had to rush out at 11 PM to get dishes to eat off of and all they could say is, we’ll have Maintnance look into it will forward it to our Cleaners didn’t seem to really care when I asked for an extended check out. They denied it as they have people checking in the same, they were checking out and it was very noisy. You could hear every step through every apartment in the building. You have to walk-through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom, which is very inconvenient for everyone.”
