“It was a cute, cozy home. The natural lighting was very nice, and it stayed very cool in the home. I do feel that it could have been cleaner or at-least if they could have provided basic cleaning products. My biggest upset was that it stated it was totally fenced for dogs and this was the main reason I booked this home. (there were no pictures of the fence and not many reviews on it) Unfortunately it is cattle panel, so it is not ideal for smaller dogs like mine. I did have a nice relaxing time here. Surfside is a great community that is not overcrowded.”

“Our stay had some positives but also several issues. When we arrived, the front door was unlocked and wouldn't lock during our stay. Please note that you must bring your own drinking water. On the plus side, the location was great, with easy access to the beach and pool, which we really enjoyed. The air conditioning worked wonderfully and kept us cool on the hottest days!”

“Roads were bad parking spot was all washed up and bad. A lot of loose boards on deck kept tripping. Ants in kitchen on stairs and on kitchen counter. Black hair on beds and floors. All floors were like the were starting to worp and tripped.”

“Before our stay Chris was responsive.A few days before I asked questions and he never responded.I even said I was concerned about the reservation because he wasn’t responding & I never heard anything.The shower was dirty…hairs & mud.There was sand all on the sofa arms. It didn’t affect our stay but one of the kitchen cabinets is broken.The kitchen had pretty much what we needed but lids were broken & there was a chip or 2 in the coffee mugs.There is some sort of weirdness w/the light in the downstairs bedroom.If you turn the light off w/the remote and just have the fan going the light still flickers but you can turn it all the way off at the wall I realized later.We had a lot of stuff to take to the beach plus 2 dogs so it was more convenient to drive & pay $15 to park on the beach instead of walking. It was nice to close the gate & have a yard for dogs however,there are tons of stickers so just know that. There is no water filter so do not drink it, it stinks & turns clothes orange.”

“Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience at this Airbnb. We booked it for a team retreat and were simply looking for a quiet place to relax. Communication was slower than expected. We were asked twice if we wanted to extend our stay, even after declining the first time, which felt uncomfortable. We were also told that check-in information would be sent one hour before check-in at 4 PM. However, when I followed up at 3:05 PM, I was told it would be sent between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, which was inconsistent with the original communication. When we arrived, the house appeared much older and smaller than expected. There was trash around the downstairs area, and the home had an unpleasant odor. The biggest issue was that the TV remote did not work, leaving us without one of the few entertainment options available. There were no games or other activities provided.Overall, the property did not provide the relaxing experience we were hoping for, and we left disappointed.”
