30A Escapes

“Took a chance on this listing without it having any reviews. We were sent the wrong door code by 30a escapes. Instead of being able to enter at 4pm we were unable to get in until 5:30pm when they could figure out the correct code. After we waited outside for 1 hour 30 mins with a 10 month old, 2 year old and 4 other kids we finally got into the house. The temperature was 76 degrees inside and did not come back down until the middle of the night, just imagine how fun that was! My instacart grocery order was delivered at 4pm -my milk, popsicles, sandwich meat etc. were all hot/melted by the time we got in considering they set outside in 90+ temps for an hour and a half. I asked if they would accommodate for the ruined groceries but nothing was done - not even a sorry! There’s no way the floors have been mopped recently the bottoms of our feet were completely black from walking around other than that everything was good. This is my 4th time staying in Prominence, the area is great!”

“Beautiful apartment in a great location. Pool is also beautiful, clean and well maintained. Restaurant in the apt complex was also great. While pictures on the website show an apt similar to 121, the pictures are not from this unit. The apt has no view despite 3 balconies.”

“The apartment and view of beach was beautiful and perfect for our group of 6! However, I would not recommend staying at High Pointe or booking with 30a escapes. All messages are sent by a bot and it is impossible to speak with a real person. They will bombard you with automated messages throughout your trip. The security guards were very unkind and difficult to deal with entering and exiting the complex. Really great apartment, but in retrospect, I wish I had booked with a locally owned, personal host so the overall experience could have been better.”

“This unit has unbeatable location and views. Hard to beat for beach access and walkability to Rosemary and Peddlers Pavilion. Resort amenities are a bonus too. This is the kind of place where you dont need to get in the car once you arrive! The unit itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked overall, and we would absolutely stay again. The only downside was that the management experience felt a bit corporate and impersonal compared to other rentals we’ve stayed in. Communication could have been more proactive, especially around check-in details, not being redirected to a different platform and a few extra touches for a beach property (more starter supplies, beach towels/chairs, recos for exploring the area, etc.) would have made the experience feel more aligned. Hospitality and details matter at this price point. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the convenience of this location.”

“Beautiful house, and great linens. However only 2 trash bags were left for the entire house for 6 days and they were NOT flexible on check in or check out.”

“Great location, just minutes away from the beach. House was clean and organized. Only downside is they did not provide enough amenities like trash bags, soaps, etc… also the instructions for the beach chairs and umbrellas wasn’t clear so we had some trouble getting it set up. Nevertheless it was worth the money.”

“We enjoyed our stay in Rosemary Beach and our expectations were met overall. A couple comment—The house was comfortable and clean but had a very corporate management feel. It’s the small, personal touches of hospitality that separate a vacation rental from a hotel. This rental requires you to bring your own pool/beach towels and kitchen basics. Inconvenient to purchase on arrival and wasteful for guests flying with carry on luggage for short visits.”

“While the apartment itself was really nicely kept, for the price, I found it a little frustrating (and petty) that they counted some of the things they gave us like "2 laundry detergent tablets", "2 packets of olive oil", "2 kitchen garbage bags", etc. I've stayed in many other AirBnbs and never seen that. The location is great - right now the beach. Close to so many things. The pool water was warm.”

“Location was great and walking distance attractions which was great for small family. For the price it was oddly scarce - 1 extra trash bag (total) 2 rolls of tp, no spices coffee (or even filters). This was more just inconvenient than anything and when pressed for a 4pm check in you would hope “staples” are included. Security was over the top on the wristband monitoring (called out multiple times when me or spouse had one but not the other and we were tending to a screaming child). Overall location and cleanliness trumped the feedback items but attention to those would make us rebook again.”

“House was nice. Location was good. There were dirty dishes put away in the cabinets, fireplace didn't work, and washer/dryer were very slow. This would have all been fine but we were scolded for being in the house six minutes after checkout while waiting for the slow dryer to finish and then threatened with additional fees. We ended up just putting bags of wet laundry in the car and leaving after being threatened with additional fees. The cycle had been going for 2.5 hours. We'd have been out an hour earlier if the machines operated efficiently. Didn't need an attitude and threats from the person answering messages. .”
