Stay Sol

Stay Sol's guest rating of 4.56 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

This was honestly one of the worst Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. The place was dirty when we arrived and even after sending pictures and videos, nothing was properly cleaned and housekeeping never came. A lot of things in the house were broken, outlets didn’t work, and overall the place felt poorly maintained. To make things worse, we had to go up 7 flights of stairs just to get ice. The security guard was also extremely disrespectful and hostile to the point it almost turned into an argument/fight, which should never happen when you’re a paying guest trying to enjoy your stay. Overall this place was stressful, uncomfortable, and nothing like what was expected. I would not recommend staying here.

Prior to my arrival I requested an early check in for 2pm instead of 4pm. I was told they cannot confirm until the day of check in because the unit is still avail. to being rented. Fine No worries. I then contacted the host the next morning early before my travel plans to confirm if the early check-in would be possible. I was told that they needed to contact the rental property “beach walk” first to verify if the unit was clean and available. I waited until 12 PM and was repeatedly told that the company has not got back to them. I called beach walk and they never received such request. I was also promised a 10% discount from this management company “stay sol” as they influenced me to leave a great review for them on a previous rental unit I’ve stayed in with their management company before and needless to say that was a lie and so was my previous review as it was influenced. The rental unit wasn’t that bad but it wasent what was show in the picsBeach walk is great, stay sol not so much

This was nowhere close to the “5-star penthouse experience” advertised. The reality was an extremely stressful and uncomfortable stay marked by major ongoing issues throughout. The beds were severely collapsed and unsupportive, causing some of the worst sleep and back discomfort imaginable over an extended stay. The master shower flooded the bathroom during normal use, the balcony furniture was broken, and there were no locks on the bedroom or master bathroom doors, creating a serious lack of privacy. The “master bathroom” itself was unexpectedly tiny and impractical for a unit marketed as luxury accommodations. The sofa/sleeping setup also did not match the listing photos or expectations presented online. Many of these issues were reported early yet were never properly resolved. At this price point, the discrepancy between the listing and the actual living conditions was enormous.

I am extremely disappointed with my Airbnb experience. I checked in and immediately checked back out because the property was dirty, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. The cleanliness was beyond poor, and the condition of the space made me uncomfortable the moment I walked in. What made matters worse was the host admitting they had no one available to come clean, yet still expected me to stay there. That is unacceptable when guests are paying for a clean and safe environment. I refused to remain in a nasty, dirty property that clearly was not properly prepared for guests. I would strongly encourage future travelers to think twice before booking here. Cleanliness and basic hospitality standards matter, and unfortunately this experience did not meet them at all.

The location is great and the beach is beautiful. However, I have many complaints. I was woke up at 6:00 AM our first morning there after a late day of travel by the maintenance staff because there was a leak somewhere and a huge puddle in our room and I slipped trying to answer the door. Next, the hallway smelled like rotten fish because it was damp. The maintenance came to do work again around 11 pm the next day in the hallway when we were trying to sleep. Our final night there, our neighbors were up all night being incredibly loud and there was some marijuana smells. If you are traveling for work/have plans and need to sleep, have children, do not stay here. I also overlooked the fact that you have to pay an extra $30 a day to use any amenities the building offers. Just get a hotel at that point… It wasn’t the Ritz Carlton I understand, and you get what you pay for I guess.

Photos are not what unit presents. There was not any silverware in the kitchen. There was one washcloth. Mildew around shower. Little to no water pressure in shower. Dirt/makeup on back of bathroom door. Cracked flooring when you enter. Not level. Horrible smell in the unit and hallways. The blackout curtain was torn and would not close completely.

Unfortunately we entered in a dirty place, The cleaning was poorly done, the carpet was dirtier than the sidewalk outside, there was a lot of trash on the sofa and specifically behind it. We had ants in one of the beds, and the worst part was the tissue box full of used tissues. The washing clothing machine was broke, it had my clothes stuck there for almost 5 days without removing it, and took all those days to someome come to check, after all this we decided to move to another apartment somewhere close.

This place was filthy from the moment I walked in. There was a strong musty smell, dirty floors, and a bathroom with toilet paper all over the floor from the previous guests. The bedding smelled off and looked questionable. For the price, this is completely unacceptable. Basic cleanliness is clearly not a priority—avoid this place. Staysol was not helpful nor responsive with this stay at all. Upon entering the apartment, I did not even unpack my bag, I went downstairs and checked out immediately… that’s how bad it was.

Beware: this is a privately owned room at Trump International Beach Resort, not a typical Airbnb. I booked last minute after leaving another Airbnb due to roaches. Minutes later, I realized there was a $135/day resort fee plus $60/day valet parking, on top of what I had already paid in full. I immediately asked to cancel, but the host refused. Because this was a private unit, we got none of the usual hotel services: no room service, no fresh towels, no phone to reach the front desk, and no laundry access. We had to reuse towels the entire stay. I had just had surgery and requested early check-in, which was denied, yet at 4 PM the cleaner was still finishing and we waited in the hall. The room was poorly maintained: peeling vanity, mold in the tub grout, loose fixtures, burnt-out bulb, and a constantly buffering TV. Worst of all, booking through the hotel would have been cheaper.
