“Wonderful and peaceful and so clean! Beautifully decorated like some thing out of Southren Living. Although private it was close to Carbondale restaurants etc. We choose Quatros deep dish pizza. Yum! Enjoyed two outdoor areas for sitting. Allison was so nice returning texts to answer my questions. Really want to return some day. Judy and Ron Waterloo, Illinois”

“This property was awesome! The photos are great but it is better in person. A quiet, very clean place. I liked that the kitchen was stocked with good utensils, dishes and even had some spices in the pantry! I would recommend this property to anybody looking for a place to stay while exploring Ferne Clyffe State Park or any of the other attractions in Southern Illinois. We arrived at the property later on Friday and Allison checked in with me on Saturday morning to make sure everything was good and to make sure and contact her anytime if we needed anything at all! Great host!”

“We absolutely loved the privacy and peaceful atmosphere that this place offered! We had a large group for a family reunion of sorts and it was so perfect to cook in the kitchen while catching up with family. Everyone comfortably fit for sleeping arrangements (we had 10 that stayed the night). My sister said the bed was the best bed she's slept on in years! Thank you again for being such an amazing host. It made our reunion stress free and full of fond memories.”

“This lakefront cabin had everything to make our extended family vacation wonderful. We spent our days playing in the lake jumping off the diving board, kayaking, or fishing off the dock. The game room was well used by our entire group. Allison was the perfect host. She made sure we had anything we needed and helped us in every way possible. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.”
