Our kids (ages 2 to 10) had a phenomenal time fishing, kayaking, watching the birds, and enjoying nightly campfires. Perfect for families—I couldn't recommend this property enough!”

“We had great stay at this place. Private and peaceful environment. Perfect size for 3 families with 6 adults and 6 kids. Spacious deck and yard for outdoor activities like BBQ and s’more. Kids had lots of fun with having their own room downstairs and playing in the game room. Host gives clear instructions for checking in and out, and is very responsive to questions.”

“Location was nice to easily get to Garden of the Gods and a few other places. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The kitchen was clean and had spices for cooking even though we didn’t use them. The bathroom was clean as well as the bedrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch and also having some coffee by the pond while listening to the owls and quite presumably the fattest bullfrog ever created. I would be happy to stay here again or any other properties owned by the host.”

“We had a wonderful stay on the lake! Went for a fishing trip and it was an awesome touch to have a covered boat slip available. The house had everything we needed. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer. They had a property available to park our boat trailer as well. Allison was very responsive and quick to answer and questions. “This was my first time using Airbnb, and I was fortunate enough to stay in a truly wonderful cabin. The owner, Allison, was incredibly attentive and prompt in her messaging, ensuring that my family and I enjoyed a completely trouble-free and delightful stay from start to finish. As I personally have a keen interest in "tiny houses"—much like Allison's cabin—I was absolutely thrilled to experience what it is like to live in one; in fact, I found it quite difficult to tear myself away when the time came to leave. The view of the pond from the couch was breathtaking, and at night, the starry sky and the fireflies were simply magnificent. Between taking walks with my dog ​​and having fun paddleboarding, our four-day, three-night stay flew by in the blink of an eye. Such a memorable experience would not have been possible without the immense efforts and contributions of Allison and her family—thank you so very much.”

“I booked it at the last minute and the host was so helpful. A beautiful home with beautiful views surrounding it. Allison was great and I met the housekeeper Stephanie in person as I was leaving. We are both Iraq veterans so we had a lot to talk about. She said Allison is a veteran as well. Everything was incredible and I’ll definitely be back!”

“I was on the fence about booking this stay, but I needed a peaceful getaway to celebrate my bittersweet birthday-and it turned out to be everything I didn’t even know I needed. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Everything was exactly as described! The dome was clean, spacious, cozy, and stocked with all the amenities we needed. We cooked and BBQ we didn’t venture out to any local eateries. Enjoyed s’mores by the fire (left 2 bundles of firewood for future renters😉). Honestly, we didn’t miss having a TV! Allison and her staff communicated clearly throughout the entire process, provided easy check-in instructions, and even shared an electronic guide with things to do nearby. We decided to spend a day fishing at Lake Glendale and actually caught a catfish! The drive from Chicago was absolutely worth it.
