“It was such a cozy, peaceful stay and exactly what we were looking for for a long weekend getaway! The screened in hot tub was perfect for the fall weather and we loved the front porch swing! We saw lots of deer. Allison was very communicative and friendly as well. Id definitely recommend!”

Lots of fun spots to grab a bite to eat and explore. If you’re into nature, make the trek to the Garden of the Gods in Herod, IL! “I stayed in the King Suite with my son and our dog on a recent visit to Southern Illinois. The building has such unique character as part of the former water facilities. The exposed brick, beautiful original windows and elegant, upscale design come together with modern furnishings to make a perfect and very comfortable place to stay. It is close to downtown and the university which makes this location very walkable and bike friendly. The building is secure and units on the third floor making it feel very safe. Our dog was welcome and we were able to request a crate from the owner at no cost. I hope to stay there again and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Carbondale and enjoy an upscale, in-town experience.”
