“This property was awesome! The photos are great but it is better in person. A quiet, very clean place. I liked that the kitchen was stocked with good utensils, dishes and even had some spices in the pantry! I would recommend this property to anybody looking for a place to stay while exploring Ferne Clyffe State Park or any of the other attractions in Southern Illinois. We arrived at the property later on Friday and Allison checked in with me on Saturday morning to make sure everything was good and to make sure and contact her anytime if we needed anything at all! Great host!”

The home was well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the space had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. What stood out most was the attention to detail. “Very spacious home! Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of bakeware, serving dishes, and cookware. Playground was a hit with the kids! Thank you Allison for being so attentive!!”

“This home was perfect for our family of 11, 9 adults and 2 young, under age 5 grandchildren! The sandy beach was ideal for the young children’s playtime and the paddle boat and kayaks made for great enjoyment for the adults! We also loved the 2nd floor deck and multiple outdoor seating areas, as well as using the wood burning fire pit each evening. The well stocked kitchen made meal preps easy too. Allison was very helpful in getting us a portable pack n play as well as a high chair on the day we arrived. We’d love to return!”
