“The house is on a Beautiful piece of property. Having the fire pit down by the water is breathtaking. Plenty of room for the whole family. Whoever owns this property, needs to invest in updating. This home isn’t inexpensive to rent, and for the money, it’s lacking quite a bit. Pretty outdated, bedding is bad and not enough furniture on the deck or down by the firepit. The people cleaning should be brushing off the exterior furniture for the next guests.”

“when first arriving with my friends we noticed a puddle of water on the top floor from the leaking A/C window unit and when notifying the Owner I was answered with a Ai response. later my friend steps outside on the Second floor balcony and gets met with a swarm of bees and gets stung 6 times (thankfully not allergic!) and after all that when my other friend tried using the down stairs restroom the sink was clogged and could not be used. Over all a beautiful property that needs some serious maintenance.”

“My family has been going to this exact cabin for decades & we are friends with the original owners. However, responsibilities were taken over by other family members and made into an Airbnb. We had not been up to the cabin since before Covid and we were excited to go back to our favorite place! But when we arrived, it was disappointing to see how dirty the inside of the cabin was.. It was as if there was little to no effort in cleaning up before we got there. On the floors were bits of candy, many small pebbles and rocks, and two fish hooks! There was broken glass in the fridge and blood smeared on the entry door.. EW! And the tables were not wiped down in the common area.. Like I said, just disappointing.. We had to buy our own klorox wipes and clean it ourselves and we even left wipes for whoever comes next because yikes.. It’s hard to feel comfy on vacation in a place that’s so dirty. As for the physical location of the cabin, beautiful as always! Just bring some slippers maybe.”

“The stay was great, and we were surprised by the location it was very convenient. We stayed here on the fourth and could see the fireworks from the pier! Was truly an awesome spot. Our few complaints I point to the management company. Some of the towels in the bathrooms were musty and not very well cleaned, additionally we couldn’t find extra towels. Also, there is a cabin/boat house in back and we were unable to access it. It appears it had been dead locked. The code we provided appears correct but the door was deadlocked. We contacted the company for two days and were not able to get in. I would stay again, as I believe these are some simple fixes!”

“We booked 5 nights but left after 2 days because the house was not in acceptable condition. There was a strong moldy odor, bugs, poor lighting, dirty box fans, uncomfortable beds, old linens, and a poorly maintained yard. The kitchen counters had dead gnats or bugs, the well water smelled bad, and a note told guests to sanitize dishes before use. The outdoor seating area was unusable because of flies and overgrown bushes. The porch was the only comfortable space. I would not stay here again or recommend this rental.”

“Unfortunately, there was a ceiling leak in the upstairs bathroom. We were basically informed that we should deal with it by putting out a pot and putting a towel in the pot. We were also informed that there was no HVAC person who could come out to fix it while we were there, although a major city was only about 1hr30minaway. We were told a number of times that someone might come out, but no one did. It is a nice house and there were many nice touches, but this bathroom ceiling drip and the unwillingness to take care of it had a major impact on our stay there. Considering the very high price per night, this lack of responsiveness was very disappointing. Still, as instructed by the owner in the desk book, we took care of the bed and bath linens, placed the garbage and recyclables in the outdoor bins, placed the dishes and utensils in and started the dishwasher, and cleaned every surface we had used. We hope that the leak has been fixed so future guests will not have this experience”

“The house was clean upon arrival & ready on time, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted our stay. The garbage disposal was broken upon arrival. I was told a repair person would come, but they never showed due to a "family emergency"; the issue remained unresolved during our stay. The biggest disappointment was the exterior of the property. The listing advertised a large outdoor seating area, but was unusable. The yard was overgrown with weeds, the outdoor cushions were dirty & stained, & there were extensive cobwebs throughout the seating area. It obviously had not been cleaned for the season. We contacted management multiple times. Instead of any assistance, we received AI responses expressing regret for our dissatisfaction & stating that the matter would be addressed internally. No action was taken during our stay & no practical solution was offered. We were not able to dine outside at all. High price for a house I would not use again.”

“This house fit lots of people and the fenced in backyard was great. Although it is right on a busy road, the home feels secluded. Communications were slow when wifi went out and considering it was wedding morning, that was a bit frustrating, but it was overall a fun place to stay at and everyone really enjoyed themselves.”

“This townhome was beautiful. Beautiful setting, furnishings, decor. We came as a family of 10 and there was plenty of room. One of the primary reasons for choosing this home was that they had laundry facilities in the home. However, on day 2, the washer broke and we were without towels, (we were supplied with 10 towels for pool and shower) and the children were without clean clothing, one of whom is an infant. We reached out immediately to let them know and no service person was available or interested in helping. Their recommendation was that we drive 1/2 hour to a laundromat to spend hours during our vacation with small children doing laundry. Given the cost and promised amenity of a washer, it was outrageous that A) nobody could come by to bring more towels, B) nobody would come to fix the machine and C) that we were expected to go to a laundry mat. We were reimbursed 1/2 of one days fee by air bnb and $0 from the owner for 3 days without towels or clothing.”
