We rented an airbnb managed by Kaitlyn at Renjoy. The day after the 14 day period to write a review of the place expired, Renjoy tried to charge us for $150.00 worth of damage that we did not do. The place was adequate. It's basically a ski rental in Cascade-Chipita Park. The carpet is gross. The pillows were too thick. The location is on a busy road. I glossed over all of that until they tried to bill us for damage to a cheap lamp and cheap garbage pail. Do not recommend Renjoy.

“We stay at airbnbs all over and have never had to write a bad review. After checking in on a 90 Degree day the house was 85 degrees and AC was not working, we contacted the host whom told us she could fix it from her side, didn't work so we had a sleepless night in an overly hot home... she never did fix the issue. Next thing was, food left in freezer and fridge from the last renters which told me they don't even check ( cleaning crew) not too big a deal, but tooth paste in bathroom sinks, sofa was filthy, carpet not vacuumed , candy crumbs on counter so not even wiped down, sink filled with nasty dirty water which host was not concerned about any of this, 1 towel per person with no hand towels or wash cloths except 1 hanging in bathroom which were thin scratchy cheap and old, and bring your own pillows ... hard as rocks. No thought went into comfort which is normally standard ~ not to these hosts... it was most likely Chat GTP reply's to my concerns!!!”airbnb

“The house is nice but with how hot it has been they need to maybe figure out a better way to cool the place. Over 80 when we showed up the first night and it was super hard to cook it down even with the fans and windows open. We also had to deal with the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night waking us all up atleast twice a night. The master bathroom doesn't have a light in the shower so don't plan on using that later in the evening and the upstairs bathrooms don't have good water pressure. We did love the basement because it was cooler and kids loved the pool table with big TV. Overall I think the house could use some updating and please look at the alarm system so the next families can get more sleep than what we did.”airbnb

“PROS: At first, the place is beautiful. With the breathtaking views of the city and the mountains. There was plenty of room for our family to be sufficiently comfortable. The kitchen was clean, the rooms were clean, bright and spacious. I loved the interior design. The air hockey was a nice touch and the fire pit was a bondable moment for the family. CONS: The fireplace was on upon entering the house. The trash was overflowing from previous guests. Later on our first night, I was informed that the water was little to none and the toilets weren't flushing. Mind you, our group had 14 guests, which created personal hygiene issues. We bought several gallons of water from the store to fill the toilet tanks to at least flush once. My father in law eventually got the water running again. Apparently, the water had an "auto shutoff" feature if water usage was detected as abnormal or over usage. Overall, it wasnt a bad stay. Just could've been better.”airbnb

“We really enjoyed the location of this property. It is in a beautiful area with a playground nearby, a river, and a walking trail along the river, which made our stay very enjoyable. Unfortunately, several issues were disappointing. When we arrived, the living room was extremely hot and stuffy because the gas fireplace had been left on with the pilot light. The room temperature was over 80°F, so it was very uncomfortable when we first entered the house. The dryer did not work, which was inconvenient for our family. The dishwasher also did a poor job cleaning dishes, and many items had to be washed by hand afterward. In the third-floor bathroom, the shampoo and body wash bottles were empty. Only the conditioner had product in it. We also found that there were not enough towels for our group of 12 people (6 adults and 6 children). There were extra towels in the laundry room, but a note said they were reserved for the next guests and should not be used.”airbnb

“This place has potential but I’m not happy with being lied to, among other things. I don’t like that I had to sign an agreement outside of Airbnb. I don’t like that I was never speaking with a real person. I also don’t like that I was lied to about early check in. I was told the day before that early check in would not be a problem because no one was renting the place the day before. Then at noon the next day I’m told someone is there, then I am told maintenance is there. No one was there. Finally we were allowed to check in at 3:30 but they kept sending me the wrong code. There is major water damage in this place and they told me it won’t get fixed for a month. So enjoy breathing in black mold. I’m getting real tired of Airbnb charging an arm and a leg for these places but it’s not even close to being worth it. If you want a spot that is close to the beach and mediocre, this is it. Also, why does no one believe in black out shades or comfortable beds for the rooms?”airbnb

“Listing did not match reality here at Rangeview Pass. Key amenities (garage, deck, grill, fire table) were all unusable the entire stay due to foul-smelling and overflowing garbage in the garage and caution tape physically blocking off the entire deck because — as the host stated in a message only after, not before, we checked in — the deck “isn’t safe to use.“ Issues reported at check-in were never resolved in spite of host’s report that they were sending someone out right away. No one ever showed up. Also had mold, dust, and cleanliness problems throughout. Cannot overstate how strongly I do not recommend.”airbnb

“I had told Kaitlyn I would not write this review if she didn't send me anymore requests for a review. I communicated ALL the issues immediately upon discovery. I was badgered our entire stay. Upon arrival maintenance was there fixing a broken garbage disposal. The smell in this home is HORRID. We had to buy air freshener just to stay. Grease was all over the cabinets, food spilled on the patio, red food stains in the basement on the carpet. All of this was shared with Kaitlyn immediately. We already had wasted time in our stay with maintenance being there and the worker was dry heaving over the separate smell from the garbage disposal being broken that was never fixed so no dishwasher. We were there for two days and just tried to rough through it. It was an emotional weekend already dropping our son at the USAFA so did not want any interruptions. Kaitlyn continued to bug us and check in. We needed a relaxing couple days and she just didn't get it. SO BAD. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!”airbnb

“Very convenient location close to the river, however it being above a garage, the noise of the garage opening and closing at all hours was quite annoying. Also you can't see from the listing but the unit overlooks a parking lot, not particularly pleasant. And the unit gets quite hot and traps heat, even with two box fans blowing it was impossible to get the temperature down. For the price I think a motel with AC would be preferable. Oh and the whole renjoy thing was a little annoying, it's like I had to use another whole app on top of Airbnb, and they charge $20 per hour for early check in.”airbnb

“When we booked this location, a portable air conditioner was listed as an amenity, but there wasn't one, so it was 80-95 in the house most of our stay & we couldn't be in it until late in the day. The grass was over 3 ft tall so our kids couldn't play outside. There was no propane for the grill & fire pit, so the steak, kabobs, ribs, etc. we bought couldn't be used because using the oven made the house temp even worst. Based on not being able to use the property for over half the time we paid for, not being able to cook there, our kids not being able to play outside, the many, many other misrepresentations of the property, and the host blatantly lying to us while trying to resolve things, we requested a 50% discount. She told us Airbnb didn't allow more than 30%. That was a lie. I spoke to them & they called her to recommend she provide the 50% we asked for. She refused & tried to tell us it was based on Airbnb's review, which was obviously also a lie. Steer clear.”airbnb
