“Great location for anyone who loves the outdoors. The river is right there with easy access, and the in-town trails are close enough to walk or bike from the door. We spent most of our time outside and loved how convenient it was. The space itself was comfortable and clean, and it made a great home base for exploring. I’m leaving one star off because of the additional fees for damage protection that is required for the stay. A third-party management company required either a $75 non-refundable damage waiver or a $500 refundable security deposit – seems like an over-reach and not customary in my Airbnb experience. The stay itself was lovely, and I’d recommend it for the location alone.”

“Our stay at the apartment was nice. There was noise from above as others have mentioned. No issues with WiFi going out however there were times it was frustratingly slow. The space was nice, the water was super hot so enjoyed that and the kitchen had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. It was also walkable to downtown, the river, dog park and hiking trails.”

“I was extremely bothered that once making this booking, I was required to pay additional fees on a separate (non-Airbnb) website. $100 for our dog and a $350 security deposit. Additionally, the communications from the manager was excessive and annoying. The place was fine. Clean and had what we needed. However, the lighting was bad, and beds weren’t comfortable. Furnishing was not cozy. Walkable to downtown Buena Vista was a plus.”

“Pros: -Comfortable living area for a group of 6 adults with lots of seating, and the games are a nice touch. -Well-appointed kitchen. -Nice deck and outdoor seating. -Great location within walking distance of Main Street, dining, etc. Cons: -None of the beds or bedrooms were ideal for 2 adults. The beds were uncomfortable with thin/hard mattresses. -While the living area is renovated, the bedrooms are very dated, including old (though mostly clean) carpet that looks to be from the 1960s-70s. -The front door has a keypad deadbolt but two other entry doors just have a locking handle, no deadbolt, aka not at all secure.”

“We had a great time at the property. The location was excellent, and the house was beautiful and full of light. The one thing that was challenging was that there were no curtains in the bedroom on the middle floor, which made it difficult to have privacy and sleep comfortably.”
