Renjoy in Buena Vista, Colorado

“There were some crumbs on the coffee table in front of the couch and it smelled kind of sour when I got there. The shower could’ve been cleaner and had a good amount of hair in the drain that I pulled out with a napkin. Other than that it was a great place to stay for a few nights and the location was really convenient.”

“There is NO AC! The upstairs room was in the mid 80s even with fans on. Downstairs was 77 degrees. I guess it's very common in BV not to have AC but it was miserable the 1st night. Everything else was EXCELLENT! Beautiful house, great location! I walked a block to the river every morning and enjoyed walking the trail. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a large skillet and a crockpot but we made it work with what was available. I would stay here again depending on the time of the year, but not when it's hot. Upstairs definitely needs a window unit or a mini-split so the room is more comfortable and usable.”

“The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay in Buena Vista. The location in South Main was ideal for access to the river and walking trails.”

“We really enjoyed the location of this property. It is in a beautiful area with a playground nearby, a river, and a walking trail along the river, which made our stay very enjoyable. Unfortunately, several issues were disappointing. When we arrived, the living room was extremely hot and stuffy because the gas fireplace had been left on with the pilot light. The room temperature was over 80°F, so it was very uncomfortable when we first entered the house. The dryer did not work, which was inconvenient for our family. The dishwasher also did a poor job cleaning dishes, and many items had to be washed by hand afterward. In the third-floor bathroom, the shampoo and body wash bottles were empty. Only the conditioner had product in it. We also found that there were not enough towels for our group of 12 people (6 adults and 6 children). There were extra towels in the laundry room, but a note said they were reserved for the next guests and should not be used.”

“The location was great and the home was beautiful, but unfortunately, we had a lot of issues during our stay. The house was advertised as having AC, but it wasn't working in the bedrooms for the last 2 nights of our stay. Temperatures in the bedroom remained in the 80s even with all windows and doors open. There is no AC on the main floor and basement. The temperature on the main floor was 80+ the entire stay. It was too hot to sleep. Additionally, there was construction on the townhouse immediately next door. This wouldn't have been a huge issue if the windows didn't need to be open to keep it from being intolerably hot indoors. We didn't use the hot tub the entire stay because it felt a little... awkward while construction workers are ~20 feet away (there is no privacy fence). While the host apologized for the inconvenience, none of the issues were remedied during our stay. These are not the only issues we had, but I have reached my character limit for a review.”
