Manager Review

Master Vacation Homes

Master Vacation Homes's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

We had a great time staying at this Airbnb for my sister and I’s 30th birthday. There was plenty of space and we loved using the pool and grill. There was a lack of towels & there are minimal cooking utensils I.e. no baking sheets & I only found one glass oven baking dish which made it hard to cook a meal for a group of 9. Check in was also a pain as I was unaware that the QR code sent was for opening the gate. I wish communication was more clear there. Overall I would rebook and stay here again.

Do not book here at all. My cousin will be coming here in 2 weeks and they are going to cancel their trip. Ac does not work, entire stay house was suppose to be set at 62 but it was 80 entire time. WiFi did not work, without WiFi we couldn’t use the cinema room, TVs did not work. Big infestation everywhere, big hole in the main door lets bugs all over the place. Ants all over the carpets. Stained pillows and bed sheets. Water pressure very week And water did not heat up at all. Not an ounce of hand soap in the house. If I can give 0 stars I will. Rodrigo/felipe you are a horrible host and I hope fellow guests read this review and do not book at your property. You ruined our vacation

We rented this house for the weekend and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The house was extremely dirty when we arrived. The floors were disgusting, the towels and blankets looked dirty, and the sheets were stained and placed incorrectly because the clean side was impossible to find. The toilets were also dirty and not properly cleaned. The grill did not work correctly, and the fire would not go down, which felt unsafe. The shampoo provided was actually watered-down soap. On top of that, my daughter accidentally left her gold ring at the house. We contacted the hosts right away, but they ignored our messages. The only time they respond quickly is when it involves payment. If it’s about customer service or helping guests, they don’t seem to care at all. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made in cleanliness, maintenance, and communication.

Numerous issues during this stay. Arrival instructions were poor - a 30-min gate delay. Once at the home with our little ones, door entry code didn't work. No host—just a call center available. Once in, the 2 promised cribs (pack-&-plays) for our young kids weren't there. 1 was present & it was broken, with snapped straps. The call center said the 2nd wasn't sent because we "hadn't paid the $10 fee." When the 2nd arrived a crib wall was entirely collapsed. The home also lacked basic comforts: dishwasher soap, etc. Lighting is harshly fluorescent—Walmart-cheap—hard on the eyes & anti-ambiance. Water pressure nearly nonexistent. Faucets appear restricted by corporate owner to cut costs. Master bathroom taps couldn't even rinse soap suds off the basin after handwashing. There were pros: beds comfortable & home has unique touches like a themed game room. Still, it's clear no one is thinking about the family's actual experience - being managed distantly for bottom line.

First the water would not get hot . And then a rat was seen in the living room by the plant . To accommodate us he offered PEST CONTROL instead of RELOCATION. I have a baby and kids , pest control should have not been an option if a RAT was seen. I did not even want a refund just to be moved .

READ FIRST! Vacation was ruined. This home is marketed as a premium family rental, but I spent my vacation chasing maintenance and safety issues. Late-night gate access was mishandled even after names were provided. SPA jets and pool heat had repeated issues, then the pool became visibly dirty/green and unusable for 5 days. After chemical treatment, tech said my kids could enter after 3 hours; they waited about 5, then both said their skin was burning and one bright pink swim shirt turned purple. I repeatedly asked for pool test results, chemical types/amounts, and safety confirmation, but never received them. Towels were insufficient, AC filters filthy, and fan/remote, garbage disposal, appliance, bed, toilet, light and kitchen-supply issues were unresolved/delayed. Communication was awful: different people replied, didn’t read prior messages, and marked issues resolved when they weren’t. Host admitted I should not have spent my vacation managing issues. I would not stay here again.

I paid for early check in and was instructed to use a specific number for the door code. Despite purchasing $287 worth of food for our 6 day stay, the door code failed, locking us out and delaying our entry. Upon arrival, the fridge was not working, forcing me to discard perishable food that had been exposed to room temperature for over 11 hours. The house was unclean, with a live roach in the living room, numerous dead bugs in the carpet, splattered bug guts on the walls, and hair in the bathtubs. The host responded by sending someone to fix the fridge, provide roach spray, and distribute Clorox wipes after 10 pm. The following evening, a cleaner thoroughly cleaned the house. However, the host did not reimburse me for my discarded groceries. On our last day my son was sick, I asked for a late checkout the host said yes but I would need to pay for another night. I asked for him to let me stay and use my early check in fee I already paid he refused and refunded me for the fee.

Huge Nat problem! By the end of our trip the house was infested. No matter how clean we kept it they just kept multiplying. There were water bugs in the upstairs bathroom drawers. Two out of the 5 rooms did not have a tv which was strange because it was the kids rooms. The door knob came off immediately after arriving. Then the towel rack in the upstairs bathroom fell when hanging a towel.
