Manager Review

Luxsle Corp

Luxsle Corp's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Overall the location is close to Boise State and an easy bike ride downtown. The hosts communicated about check in proactively. Overall the house needs updating to really make it comfortable. The subfloor by the sink needs replaced, the main level laminate isn’t easy to clean leaving it feel dirty, and carpet upstairs is very old. Feels like a place for college age kids. I would note that they heavily monitor outside footage and commented on how my kids were moving their bikes. It made me feel uneasy for the rest of the stay.

Great location, beautiful deck with view of the area. Spacious house which was great because we traveled to the area for a family wedding & had multiple families from different states staying at the house. The steep driveway was a challenge with multiple cars. The bathroom in the basement needs some attention. The lighting is poor & we fixed a broken faucet with a screwdriver set they sent us via amazon. Two of the bathrooms were very nice, the other two had mold & need to be updated. It takes quite a while to get hot water in the upstairs bathrooms & one of the faucets in the master bathroom has the hot & cold switched. The air conditioning was inadequate. The rooms downstairs were freezing, the rooms upstairs were warm. Some cabinets in the kitchen had food drips running down them.

When renting a house that sleeps 12 there should be enough dishes for 12 people. Very few pots, pan, and dishes. Every thing was dirty. Wet towels and sheets in the dryer. Dirty walls that hadn’t been wiped down or painted in years. Black mold on bathroom ceilings. Cobwebs in the kitchen windows. Stains in many places on the carpet. Hardly any water pressure in the master bathroom. Jetted tub would have taken a week to fill. Clearly only paying for the view. Family around the block paid 1/2 the price for amazing homes. Towards the end of our stay giant Amazon boxes kept arriving, so many stacked up you could hardly get in the door. So much trash in the trash cans we had to ask neighbors if we could add to their cans. Extremely disappointed on this home.

Beautiful location. There is a lovely neighbor and dog that are kind adjacent hosts and the cleaning human is a gem of a human as well. I’m not a fan of the managed homes, overall. I prefer the personalized touch of real hosts.

Nice area. Trees are gorgeous. The home was relaxing and great hot water for showers. The neighbors were loud the first night until 10:30pm! There was no fire starter for fire pit. Couch was not comfortable and couldn’t seat more that 2 people.

Excellent location. Very clean but rather sparse. It's not really a penthouse, just a top floor apartment. Communication with Lux was a bit slow as they are not the host who met us. Lots of building rules, but no problem. Expect to wait on the street until a host eventually let's you in. Not bad, but I would not stay here again.

The property itself was beautiful, and overall we enjoyed our stay. One disappointment was that we were unable to use the fire pit, which was one of the amenities we were looking forward to. We were staying for a company training and had hoped to use it for team bonding in the evenings. We sent photos and videos showing the issue, but unfortunately the troubleshooting guidance we received did not resolve the problem, and after several hours of trying, we eventually gave up. I also requested a late checkout early in our stay due to work meetings. I was initially told to check back the day before departure to confirm availability. When I did, the request was declined despite the property not being booked for another week. Later, we were told we could stay until 12:00 PM, but on the morning of checkout we received a message stating we still needed to be out by 11:00 AM. The mixed communication was confusing and felt somewhat unprofessional. That said, the home was very nice and we

The place was kinda old and beat up. The process for renting this place on air bnb was ridiculously long and if I had read all the house rules which is extraordinary long I probably wouldnt have rented it. Overall it was horrible but I definitely wouldnt rent from this host again

I would not stay with this host or management company again. I booked a 3-month stay knowing the cancellation terms, and before my stay even began, I reached out to adjust the length. I was told that wouldn’t be an issue and that they would handle what was needed on their end to allow a modified checkout date. However, when I followed up during my stay to make that change again, I was told again that it was “fine,” but no action was taken to actually enable the modification. Instead, I was told I could cancel whenever I wanted, but would still be charged for the remaining time. That effectively meant paying for unused days while the unit could be rebooked, which didn’t feel right given the earlier assurances. As for the unit itself, it’s a basement apartment in a fourplex, and noise was a consistent issue. I could clearly hear neighbors above and next to me late into the night, including loud conversations and TV. It made it difficult to get consistent sleep. They screwed out of money

We were a group of eight people (three moms and five kids). We had clearly informed the host in advance about our group size and emphasized that we needed comfortable sleeping arrangements. However, the space was not suitable for eight people — realistically, it could accommodate a maximum of six. The BBQ was full of mold, even though we had told the host ahead of time that we planned to cook some of our meals using it. The pots and pans were not clean and were heavily scratched. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the property was disappointing — there were small hairs on the bathroom surfaces and floors, and it did not appear to have been professionally cleaned. We planned to move out but the host asked us to pay the first night that we stayed and couldn’t sleep. We also asked him to bring us extra mattress but disregarded.
