“Great place. Right on the beach. Loved all the outdoor deck furniture. Only provided two rolls of TP for three bathrooms- strange.”

“More or less ok, but I can’t avoid mentioning that nonthing is included - even toilet paper. Yes, it’s disclosed in the listing - but that is not what you expect from AirBnb rental Second, they try to force you to sign a legally binding contract off platform. Remember that you don’t have to. AirBnb rules prohibit that actually Third, nothing for the beach is there. We left boards and towels and stuff. And next guests might not see it there. I can’t believe previous guests all left with the stuff they purchased. And this never happened in this area before to us, with over 10 stays over the years. And the worst part that mostly drives the rating is that towels and linens are provided but 1) they come in plastic bags looking like it’s a soviet plague hospital 2) you have to make the beds yourself. I mean, seriously?”

“Place is in desperate need of many updates and needs a thorough cleaning!”

“The location is great and is a wonderful spot for families with young children or pets. Our problem was there was no grill set out for use like the listing photos showed. The hot water seemed to be turned on a pretty low setting which was a little disappointing. Overall, we would stay again with our family but would bring a grill. It was disappointing to not be able to grill out for Memorial Day.”

“This was a very stressful and unsafe check-in experience due to an incorrect house number in the listing. We followed the Airbnb app directions and arrived at what we believed was the correct property, and while attempting check-in were confronted by an angry homeowner who accused us of breaking in and threatened to call the police. This was a serious and entirely avoidable safety issue caused by inaccurate listing information. The door lock code also did not work on arrival, and after multiple failed attempts someone had to be sent out to assist, causing further delays. We were later told the correct address was provided by email, but guests rely on the Airbnb app for navigation. An Instacart order was also lost due to the confusion and timing, and we were unable to recover it. Support shifted responsibility rather than addressing the core issue. Only compensation was late checkout, which did not reflect the severity of what occurred. I would not recommend this listing at all!!”

“The inside of the Airbnb was beautifully updated, comfortable, and very clean. We really appreciated the short walk to the beach, modern finishes and overall indoor space. Unfortunately, the outdoor areas were not maintained to the same standard. The patio chairs were covered in black dirt/grime that stained our clothes, and there was construction debris/trash left outside during our stay. With better attention to the exterior cleanliness, this could be a great property overall.”

“This is a great house with a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, a great yard for the dog and a short walk to the beach. Please note that there are very few incidentals provides. Bring your own hand soap, trash bags, coffee, filters, salt, pepper and extra toilet paper. The trash cans did not have bags when we arrived. The house was very clean and comfortable.”

“Nice house. Best view of the beach and ocean on Topsail Island. But be sure to bring your own soap and toilet paper.”

“The home is beautiful, the views are spectacular! The amenities supplied in the kitchen and living space were abundant and wonderful to have, especially the children’s toys! Only disappointment was the condition of the floors, not clean. We remove our shoes at home, everyone’s feet were black on the bottom. A few maintenance items need attention, cabinet panel under cooktop is broken off, main floor bedroom access panel above closet is going to fall off soon, that room and bunk bedroom closet doors do not close. There was a dirty Q-tip on the floor in one bedroom and the mattress pads need to be cleaned better, hair on the one in the wicker furnished bedroom. The gas grill was not usable, needs to be cleaned and no starter for it, no one wanted to put a match to the natural gas connection in it. If crumbs were dropped in the kitchen or porch off the kitchen the ants arrived very quickly. I would rent this home again! We had a wonderful family weekend staying there😊”

“If your looking for stunning views of the ocean this is the place. We had 8 people stay and it did not feel like we were on top of each other. Lots of room! Elevator was very helpful with luggage. Place was clean. Just a great vacation spot and would highly recommend. Only one thing I’d be aware of. If you’re not from a beach town which I’d imagine most are not. There are “private” beach access bridges to get across the dunes. If you walk over the bridge there is a troll 👿 that owns it and monitors it 24/7. He will come out and be less than human to you. Just use the public access point it’s right there. Also if the troll says the beach is private and tries to tell you to leave just talk to the cops like we did. There is no such thing as a private beach at this location. Anyways we are going to stay again soon. Awesome place!”
