“There was many different coffees but no coffee filters. We found 2 smashed in the bottom of a basket but was straight and got all kinds of grounds in pot. Bed down stairs was all broke down and leans to middle of bed. Kitchen was very small and many dishes were not cleaned. We had to hand wash everything we wanted to use. Back deck was very worn and leaning. Didn’t feel safe. We loved the view and the area was clean and nice walk. Wish we would have had a better map that showed were everything was. We didn’t not have a bbq like the listing said. It needs to say that the grounds have bbq areas available but not at cabin.”

“We slept there only, but the place was very nice. There was so much communication that I tuned it out and then had to scramble to get them the information they needed to get us final check in details. When we got there, the code for the lock didn’t work. They were responsive even though it was after 10pm when we checked in.”

“Amazing views, very clean, great location BUT some kinks need worked out. Let me start with the worst issue….a very offensive (to us) political flag waved in the wind right there by the water in their yard, where you couldn’t miss it. This was EXTREMELY disappointing. Have your opinion, that is fine, but just like you remove personal items from the home before renting, you should remove political merch too. Primary King bed mattress was uncomfortable and we rolled into the middle—time for an upgrade. Also, cheap sheets that corners pop off while sleeping. Beyond that, house was as described, very clean and comfortable. Issues with host’s team—their communication was a bit of a mess. Perfect example, called in advance to inquire about backyard being fenced. They said it was not—it was! Said I would have to sign a separate pet agreement, that never arrived, when I called that wasn’t the case and I just needed to type in the messages “I agree”. Hope they improve things.”

“Boy, did I walk into memory lane! This place looks and functions like off-campus student housing in a small college town, only this would be primo housing like the dentist’s son had. He always had girls hanging around his place b/c they knew he had money. He also threw some awesome parties there and… Sorry, I was rambling. This place’s style is what’s known as “Shabby Chic” (which was all the rage in bigger cities at one time). It’s somewhat run down, but comfortable. Although I was only looking for a place to spend the night, it has a fully stocked kitchen for those who want to prepare their own meals. I found the bed to be comfy and the comforter was generous, not thin like some. The only complaint that I have is that the owner(s) aren’t that responsive. If you call the help line, it goes straight to voice mail, and I never did get a response. (I don’t know what happened to the dentist’s son. He was a marketing major and I never saw or heard from him again after graduation.)”

“We booked a boat slip to go with the condo but they didn’t tell us one wasn’t available until after check in so we were stuck with our boat and trailer with nowhere to store it. Otherwise the place was great.”
