“We liked how private it was. And right on the lake.”

“The house was great. It was very clean and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out, and it looked just as the photos indicated. Each bedroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable. It is in a nice, quiet cove. However, I was very disappointed with the handling of the dock and lift situation. I specifically rented this house because there was an available slip in the dock for our boat and a lift for our WaveRunner, and I confirmed with your team prior to booking that we would be able to use both. This was the primary reason I chose this property. When we arrived, there was already a boat in the dock slip and a WaveRunner on the lift. I contacted your office from the driveway to explain that we were unable to use the dock as advertised. I was simply advised to find a marina to store our watercraft. This was extremely frustrating, as we then had to take everything in and out of the water all weekend.”

“We recently stayed at this Sunrise Beach, MO rental. The house has great potential, but routine maintenance and hospitality standards were clearly overlooked. Upon arrival, the primary bed sheets had dirty spots. The primary bathroom also features full carpeting—an unhygienic choice for high-moisture areas. Maintenance issues were noticeable throughout: overdue AC and smart-fridge water filters, a short-cycling toilet, and a broken dining ceiling fan. The kitchen’s gas oven worked well, but cooking was tough because the space was severely understocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. Note that access requires driving down a gravel road. Outside, the blue dock chairs from the listing photos were missing, and the Lily Pad float was torn. It’s a functional place to sleep, but the host must invest in a deep clean, fixture repairs, kitchen restocking, filter changes, and accurate listing photos. With a little extra care, this could easily be a 4- or 5-star property.”

“Overall, our stay was pleasant and wonderful! A few things to note:::: Parking was a little rough because there are only so many places to park, and then to leave the area, it’s a lot of backing up,turning around and hard maneuvering to get out. Many of our cars struggled to do so on the hills and gravel without getting stuck and spinning out. The other thing was we rented a lilypad from the AirBnB for Saturday.They thought it was present by the dock, which it was not probably due to the storm from a few weeks ago or someone stole it—this should have been checked in to to make sure what was rented and paid for was present. I am getting a refund,but when looking forward to having a lilypad on your day out on the lake,that was a last min disappointment. Outside of that, everything was fantastic. Quick communication, clean, coffee bar setup, shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower, plenty of towels, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and plenty of sleeping space to fit 12 ppl! :)”
