“A very cozy place to stay and so close to the beach and all the beauty of South haven! Great location. Stayed with two young kids and they loved having a yard!”

“The house was clean and impressive. The check in and instructions were good and clear. There is a lot of space and very clean. There are very limited supplies like towels pots, pans, ect. If you plan on cooking there you will need to bring every thing. One complaint they just painted the out door furniture paint was not dried and 3 people sat in and got paint all over pants shirts and skin. One out door chair crumbled under me and i fell backwards out of it. All in all very good set up and clean and very nice for a get away. Only complaint is the paint situation.”

“Overall building was as advertised, including additional amenities like a pack and play for our small kids (unopened). At arrival, there was noticeable mess, crumbs on carpet, Easter hard boiled egg rotted under couch, medicine in bedding (ibuprofen). not unmanageable, but worse than I've seen at any other Airbnb. Responsiveness was great prior to arrival, but then essentially disappeared when on property. We had asked if early check in was available 6 hours prior to listed check in with no answer and asked for multiple electrical issues to be addressed and maintenance never came. Location is about 0.5 miles from any beach access at kids corner, which is a bit of a hike and a mile from downtown. This is all in the posting to the credit of Jaqua. Building has potential to be an amazing family getaway, but we were disappointed with the operation of the rental on arrival and during our stay.”

“The space was amazing for the 4 different generations of my family- all with different needs for alone time and social time. Multiple floors and spaces made it possible to have some alone time, but living/dining/outdoor spaces all could easily hold 12. Super comfy couches- not very comfy beds.”

“We liked how cozy the cabin was, and how close it was to places like Saugatuck, Holland, and Southaven. The bed was very comfortable. Had some trouble finding the place and it’s a little out of the way. Otherwise, a fine stay”

“Home was beautiful and comfortable. Space was nice for our group. We actually had tornado warnings the night of our check in. We felt safe in the home. The bad, the washer did not work right. It didn't agitate and made a terrible clunking noise. Then the shower door fell off the track in the main bathroom, making it so you couldn't shut the door. I messaged the host, which was read but never received a response. So we had to shower without a door. Also, the home was clean and well stocked with necessities but they should probably spray for earwigs. All in all, the good outweighed the bad.”

“The location in Saugatuck was excellent. The communication was very frustrating. This house is not owned by an individual but rather buy a real estate company. There is very little personal attention and communication was confusing as a result. The listing said there was a grill, but it was broken. Some of the pans and surfaces in the kitchen were covered in a layer of dust when we arrived. The home and decor is definitely dated and lacking in nice comfy spaces to relax indoors. The beds were clean and the bathroom had been updated although hot water was hard to come by. For a homebase for adventures around Saugatuck and Douglas, it got the job done, but the house itself is definitely not a destination.”

“I didn't mean to book this listing, but by the time I realized that fact, it was too late. I booked a few days before my stay but could not cancel because they have a no cancellations within 60 days of booking policy. They should at least give 24 hours in case there is a mistake, or even 10 min would have been helpful.”

“Great location! Walkable to some restaurants and wedding venue. House newly renovated. Unfortunately dishware/glasses were not clean and hot tub not ready for use upon arrival. Overall, a great place for our needs and location unbeatable for wedding across the street.”
