“The location is beautiful, and there is nothing better than waking up and listening to the waves. We had stayed there last year and booked again this year after a great experience at that time. This experience was less spectacular as the house had a cloud of what are presumably drain flies in the kitchen. At one point, we returned after an hour and there were at least 30 fruit/drain flies surrounding an empty can of coke. The agent is clearly aware and trying, since they have two of the blue light fly traps running but they have clearly not been fully effective. We ultimately ended up spending less time indoors due to the number of flies, and went to the beach, which was great. For the price being charged per weekend, it felt like some more maintenance would be beneficial as some parts of the house feel aged and uneven.”
