We loved the place. It was on top of a hill and very quiet. Saw a lot of deer grazing in the woods next to the house. Was walkable to the ferry that went into the town of Saugatuck. It was maybe a 5 minute walk which was very convenient. Highly recommend.

Great place! Walkable to town and a quick drive to the beach. Huge fenced in back yard. The outdoor amenities were awesome. Would definitely book again!

The location is tough to beat for a weekend getaway. Atop a wooded hill, the house is private yet nearby all the must-sees — just a 5-minute drive from Oval Beach and 10 minutes from downtown Saugatuck. We especially enjoyed winding down on the screened-in porch and listening to the live music from across the Kalamazoo River.

We had a nice, peaceful weekend stay here. The location is excellent and very convenient - we loved the beautiful sliver of view of the Kalamazoo River and being within walking distance to the chain ferry. The AC worked flawlessly, which was a massive plus during a very hot summer weekend! The property itself is functional for a short trip, though the furniture and styling are quite aged, outdated, and sparse. It is definitely on the bare-bones side, and you need to bring all of your own toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.). Also, note that the driveway is very steep and curvy, which requires some careful maneuvering. Overall, it worked out fine for our short weekend getaway - we love Saugatuck, especially in the summer, and look forward to coming back to the area!
