“We have been coming to this area for six years now and we have stayed all over the place. I can honestly say that this house was my favorite. It was easy to get to (no switchbacks or long curvy one car roads), centrally located, within walking to Grandfather winery, in a beautiful setting and wonderfully inviting. The kitchen was super well-equipped with quality dishes, utensils and cooking implements. The beds were made with very high-quality bedding, and the towels were of very nice quality as well. Nothing cheap about it! It is decorated beautifully without feeling ostentatious or cluttered. Our dogs loved the window seat in the living area and they also enjoyed their daily walks along the neighborhood roads and the walk to the Winery. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly plan a return!”

“This home is absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for our small intimate wedding! It held everyone we needed there & we were able to spend the whole weekend together. The pictures do not do it justice, there is so MUCH space. & all the games & movies were an added bonus.”

The mountain views were absolutely stunning — waking up to the scenery each morning was a highlight of the trip. The house was also packed with fun games and great amenities that kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. “The house itself was nice and comfortable. No complaints about the house. But the management company was very disappointing. I asked about a Christmas tree when booking, then again before arrival, and kept getting different, confusing answers. If the answer was simply “no,” it should have been said clearly from the start. Communication felt cold and unhelpful, like they just wanted the conversation to end. We arrived at midnight and there was no shower gel, no soap, and almost no trash bags. For this price, that feels unacceptable. Overall: good house, bad management.”

“Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. We experienced serious inconveniences due to a large number of bedbugs and flies in the house. The situation was especially bad in the upstairs bedroom, where it was impossible to sleep because bedbugs were jumping on us throughout the night, and flies were constantly flying around the room. Additionally, the listing stated that the house had a dishwasher, but there was no dishwasher available during our stay, which was disappointing and misleading. Because of these issues, our stay was very uncomfortable, and we hope the host addresses them for future guests.”

“The cabin and its location are very good, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The only negative thing I found was that it's impossible for a cabin rented for 10 people to only have two 13-gallon trash bags provided. I had to spend some of my time disposing of trash at Walmart, a McDonald's, and other places, since the designated trash area was closed every time I went there. Everything else was fine.”

“The house was in a beautiful and quiet location. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The place needs some attention to detail from management and the cleaners but our overall stay was very nice.”
