“After the reservation is confirmed, you have to go to a separate portal to sign another agreement with a management company, after they already charged the card. Still not done, then you must have a phone call with the management company. You’re then sent pages and pages of rules with lots of threats and exclamation points about fees, etc if everything isn’t left just so. Started immediately getting spam emails about how it’s less expensive to book with the management company instead of AirBnB. It was expensive for what you get. And we found a cigarette butt under the bed. So much for all of those rules and exclamation points.”

“A great place for a big family! We were in for a wedding and had family from out of town stay with us. Great spaces to visit with everyone!”

“House was perfect for the 2 of us! Loved the deck and view of the mountains, as well as the privacy. Very quiet and peaceful. Beds are firmer than what we are accustomed to, but still comfortable. The gravel road leading to the house can be tricky to navigate after it rains because parts of it become muddy. Overall, we loved the house, the view, the privacy, and how quiet it was! Will hopefully return some day.”

“We loved our stay and hope to be back! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed plus more. Such a beautiful location, super peaceful and a great cabin layout. Lots of outdoor seating with a gorgeous view which we loved. Also enjoyed the walking path at the base of the house. West Jefferson is a quiet small town but still in close proximity to the attractions of the Boone area. We will miss this place!”

The mountain views were absolutely stunning — waking up to the scenery each morning was a highlight of the trip. The house was also packed with fun games and great amenities that kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!”
