High Mountain Cabin Rentals in Boone, North Carolina

“Round House is a lovely little cabin in a quiet area. The host was very responsive during our stay and helped us communicate with the owner to solve an accessibility issue we had. My mom uses a walker and had difficulty getting into the house from the designated parking area. He coordinated a better parking spot for us during our stay so that she could access the cabin more easily. It’s important to note that this cabin has steep entrances and a steep narrow staircase inside, thankfully with a railing. We would have appreciated a few more amenities such as coffee readily accessible, extra toilet paper, tissue boxes, extra pillows and towels etc., however, we were told ahead of time on the limited supplies so we could plan ahead. We did find the cabin to be clean, tidy and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again in the future, but I would not bring my mom to this particular spot again. The view is absolutely beautiful and a great place to soak in some nature.”

The surrounding mountain views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect getaway spot to recharge and enjoy nature, while still having all the modern comforts we needed.
