“We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It is spacious and well-furnished for our needs. The various spaces in the home -- the main home, plus the upstairs apartment and the separate bungalow worked out perfectly for our extended family & friends. My only complaint is that the home wasn't really wasn't designed to maximize air flow or cooling. The beautiful deck gets plenty of cool ocean air and the master bedroom gets the full advantage of this. The rest of the home, the 2nd bedroom in particular, really don't get as much airflow as they should, even with the windows and doors wide open. The upstairs apartment and bungalow both get very warm and just don't cool off until long after dark. Higher quality fans that are less noisy and move more air would be nice in these areas. We had a minor service issue with the kitchen sink during our stay and it was repaired promptly. Communication with our host was excellent. I'd stay again, but maybe during winter when it is cooler.”

“This is our first time in Maui for our honeymoon and this was the absolute perfect property!! So close to great breakfast places and easy walk to the nearby beach. Robert was great throughout the whole process and made the experience completely stress free. We are so looking forward to g forward to come back!!”

“Inspiring! The Unit had all we could ask for. Well supplied and very comfortable. Loved the updated kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the complex and the private location of our unit with the unique patio. Kids enjoyed the pool. We were able to experience so much of what Maui had to offer from this central location. “We absolutely loved Robert’s place at Koa Resort. It was a wonderful place to call “home” for the past week! We’d stayed on Maui once before, but were at a resort in Wailea. Kihei was a fantastic location for everything that we wanted to do. Restaurants & shopping were a short drive south and the beach was literally right across the street! Plus Robert’s place was well-appointed. We had everything that we needed to make breakfast every day or heat up some leftovers for dinner. Robert was also a great communicator. About a week before our stay, I asked for local restaurant recommendations and he responded with his favorites. Highly recommend 1G and Robert as a host!”
