“We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and in a beautiful location. It was quite warm at night, but the host kindly provided an extra fan for the second bedroom, which we really appreciated. Air conditioning would be a wonderful addition and would make the stay much more comfortable. Regardless we really enjoyed our stay and will be back! Mahalo for your hospitality!”

“This comfortable home in Kea'au was in the most beautiful setting! We loved being able to see the ocean from the deck and balcony and enjoyed some beautiful sunrises. The home is well-equipped and we appreciated having a washer/dryer off the garage. The grounds were gorgeous and we enjoyed walking the ocean-front trail in the evenings. It was just a short drive to Hilo and to Volcanoes National Park. This lovely home sits in a perfect spot for eastside island activities!”

“What had a wonderful time. It was very private and the landscape was lush. The interior was clean and well appointed. It was also very close to my daughter’s house. We visit several times a year and would definitely book again if the house is available.”

“Overall, our stay at this Airbnb was nice. It is serene, literally like you are alone amongst a rain forest. The beautiful sounds of the jungle every night are amazing. It was a more on the rustic side than I realized… the outside shower without warm water wasn’t ideal or the clunking sound of the water pump anytime you flush the toilet during the middle of the night. Could have used some stepping stones or something to get from the car to the front door especially in the rain. The tree at the entrance also obscures the driveway entrance and address sign so a bit hard to find at first. But other than that it was great.”
