“This was a great home and a great location for attending a concert at the AMP. I would stay here again and especially appreciated the easy check out. The only thing we didn’t like was the amount of messages, that seemed like AI. We were asked several times if we wanted to check in early or leave later for an additional fee.”airbnb

“i booked this Airbnb for my wedding party that traveled in to stay at. I received multiple text from Cohova’s Property about how they were ready for a 3pm check in and that they would inform me if we could check in earlier. When my group and I arrived at 3pm the cleaning lady just started taking cleaning supplies out of her car and told us she had just arrived to clean the house and it wasn’t going to be fully ready for hours. I called the Cohova’s property number to inform them that the house was not ready for guests and Cohova’s property management had no idea of this issues. The cleaning lady (super nice) allowed us to set our stuff in the house and get ready for the rehearsal dinner. Unfortunately we had to get dressed and ready in the living room dining room area because the rooms and bathrooms were either getting cleaned or dirty. The property was also unaware that the Hot Tub was not usable and had to send a business to come fix it so we were unable to use it.”airbnb

“We did feel at home. It's not a bad Airbnb and the Prop. Mgmt Co. is doing their job looking out for their clients best interest. The price was for location (near the lake) not the care and condition of the property. I might list my AirBnb with Cohova but I would not stay with them again. We like AirBnb because of the personal aspect and supporting other home owners. Whereas dealing with Cohova was like dealing with a corporation. The PM Co. is their to gain as much as they can for their client which means $100/hr extended checkout, $65 1hour early check-in, etc. The decking needs to be inspected. Ultimately, the location met our need for accommodations, and it has a lot of "hanging out" area which was very nice.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing Airbnb experiences we’ve had. We ended up leaving early because the condition of the property made our stay unbearable. The host was unresponsive and we had to contact Airbnb to help out. As soon as we walked in, there was a very strong, unpleasant odor throughout the home. The smell was so bad that my son became sick and threw up shortly after we arrived. Within the first 30 minutes, we found two live cockroaches. As we looked around further, we found trash, dead bugs, and excessive lint underneath the beds. I even had to use the vacuum provided by the host to clean the property myself. There were visible stains and dirt in multiple areas of the home, including the pull-out sofa, which was stained and did not appear clean enough to use. The backyard was also disappointing. There were chickens roaming everywhere, and chicken droppings covered much of the outdoor area, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the space as advertised”airbnb

“Good location, clean house, however a few issues we encountered. The Keurig coffee maker was missing, and the communication back and forth with the host about it seemed very much bot generated. There were three pitbull dogs roaming the neighborhood unleashed including up to the porch of the rental. Also be aware there is a window AC in each bedroom which does cool the rooms down pretty well, but the main space stays very warm on a hot day.”airbnb

“We were disappointed by the overall condition of this property. The master bathroom had black mildew/mold all over the ceiling, which is both unpleasant and a potential health concern. It was so bad I called and had them send someone out. The back patio deck was also poorly maintained, with exposed nails sticking up from the wood. Unfortunately, my son stepped on one, and it broke the skin. Inside the house, there were cobwebs and spiders in the corners of multiple rooms, making it feel like it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. Overall, the property is in need of significant maintenance and better upkeep. With proper repairs and attention to cleanliness, it could be a much better place to stay, but in its current condition, I can’t recommend it.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The house was not clean when we arrived there was dog hair all over the floors and furniture, a strong unpleasant smell, and even pieces of broken glass on the floor. We had to clean multiple areas ourselves just to feel comfortable, which is not something you expect when paying for a vacation rental. The dog hair got on our clothes, and with my young son crawling around, the broken glass was a serious safety concern. The location was nice, but the cleanliness issues made it hard to enjoy our stay. I hope future guests have a better experience after these problems are addressed.”airbnb

“Very different than the pictures showed. Would not recommend this house to anyone; especially families with young kids. It makes sense why their photos show the pool covered. Old and dirty.”airbnb

“Pay attention to booking restriction. I tried to make a 1 day change 8 days out and was denied. Also, air condition was in a bad setting that couldn’t be changed inside the house. Took 1.5 days to resolve. First night was 75degrees inside. Other than that it was fine.”airbnb

“Listing stated the pool would be open Memorial Day. Reached out to host days before booking to clarify if we renting through the weekend until the following Wednesday would the pool be available throughout the entirety of the stay. We were informed that plan was for it to be “open Memorial Day, so it would be available during our stay on the 23rd (Saturday) onward”. When we arrived the pool indeed was not available. I reached out to the hosting company and kept getting the run around. Was asked if they could call us back. After waiting an hr with no call back I reached back out. After 2.5hrs on the phone with the hosting company, asking nicely for a supervisor over 14 times, tried to come up with a solution suitable for both parties ended up with a full refund, after informing I would call AirBNB. The property itself is older than the pictures show. It smells like an older home. It looked like the cleaning crew just did a spot clean. Found old finger nail clippings from previous guest”airbnb
