We loved the modern design from the listing, but we sent feedback to the property management about spiders, moths, overall cleanliness of beds, and that the exterior needs maintenance. The view was beautiful, but it is quite far from Downtown Rogers and Eureka so you will need to bring in your food for meals. We loved that the listing said Lake Access and we were looking forward to fishing from the shoreline. The path/stairs down to the lake are quite steep, overgrown and the shore wasn’t much to stand on. I’m sure with a little investment this place could be very nice due to the beautiful nature surrounding.

The house is as advertised. It was clean and the neighborhood was nice. The only issue we had was communication. First off there were way too many automated messages sent out. Then I tried to reach out to ask if the owner was ok if we had a local family member stop by for dinner, and they were never able to give me an answer if that was allowed. The property management company messaged me 3 times about it, but couldn't ever give permission. Then they also gave wrong details about where to find some extra products we needed. Overall I would stay again, but the communication was not the best.

The apartment is nice and spacious. The location is convenient for getting around by car. But take note: This property is three stories. Entry is on ground floor, then a full flight of stairs to the kitchen and living area, and another flight up to the bedrooms. This might be a problem for families with small children or the elderly. Our biggest issue was the king bed in the master. The top of the mattress was at waist-height on us-- around 40" from the ground. The first night there was no step to help you climb up, but after many messages with Cohova and Airbnb safety team, they brought two plastic step stools. What they really needed to do was lower the bed! It is dangerously high. Second issue: while it's a quiet area, a neighbor had loud parties at 2:00 am. At one point there were 10 cars out front of the otherwise empty lot. Not Cohova's fault, but bring your sound machine! Hopefully the neighbors won't party and the bed will be normal height, so you can enjoy this nice apartment.

We reserved the place for 10 people but had only 7 towels in the house. The sheets on two of the beds were not clean. The Microwave was broken and the dishwasher did not function properly. One of our guests was bitten by about six tics. There was also no dustpan in the house. I will most likely not stay in a place hosted by Cohova again.

Advertised as lakefront. 10-12 yr olds could not walk down and back up with tennis shoes. My 65 yr old mother broke her shoes and we both slipped on the algae coming up. It’s unsafe. There is a kayak in the garage for only the reason of bringing the kayak in your own vehicle to get the other kayaks to boat ramp, to clean and bring others down to enjoy the lake by car. The projector downstairs run by tv and radio and everything was impossible to figure out . Took their maintenance guy Tanner over an hour to figure out so we could just play music. That was Saturday night. As our stay was only Friday with paid early check in, to Monday at 10. After crazy lightning and thunder until it was safe to pack up with 3 kids, their cleaning crew got cops called on them for sitting in front of neighbor. It was 10:25 when we had a cop in the garage while the kids were in our vehicles and we were just packing up the fridge. I washed every towel and cleaned that house and that’s how are trip ended.

Operated by a management company, not as engaging and accommodating as homes managed by individuals. House was functional but felt like it was designed to be a place to simply stay versus enjoying the experience.

Overall pretty good and enjoyable stay! The parking is not as great at you would think based on the pictures. It was very difficult to fit the vehicles plus loading and unloading bikes for 9 people. When I messaged them to ask for assistance they said to message them if I needed assistance pretty much. They gave us local parking lots to try. It was unhelpful. Cohova is very strict about no street parking and for the location it’s illogical. The customer service seems to be a bot. The neighbor gets 5 stars. He immediately saw the problem with fitting our 4 vehicles and bikes. He said we could park by his house and that street parking was allowed all over the neighborhood. There is also a big ant problem. Ant traps all over and don’t leave any small piece of food out.

Beautiful place with nice beds and cool layout. Everything worked well. Be prepared for the spiral staircase to go up and down with bags it could be tricky. Make sure you book according to the timeline for changes as there was no flexibility when I realized 36hrs after booking it was the wrong date they will only credit 1/2 of your original payment if after 24 hrs

Many things didn’t work, hot water was backwards and took forever to heat up, large projector bulb was out and not able to use. Fan on outdoor patio would not turn on and it was too hot to use without it. Everything had a fee, even fishing from the dock. I had originally thought I was booking on beaver lake to realize once the address was received that it was a small HOA lake. Wish things would have been clearer.

Listing stated the pool would be open Memorial Day. Reached out to host days before booking to clarify if we renting through the weekend until the following Wednesday would the pool be available throughout the entirety of the stay. We were informed that plan was for it to be “open Memorial Day, so it would be available during our stay on the 23rd (Saturday) onward”. When we arrived the pool indeed was not available. I reached out to the hosting company and kept getting the run around. Was asked if they could call us back. After waiting an hr with no call back I reached back out. After 2.5hrs on the phone with the hosting company, asking nicely for a supervisor over 14 times, tried to come up with a solution suitable for both parties ended up with a full refund, after informing I would call AirBNB. The property itself is older than the pictures show. It smells like an older home. It looked like the cleaning crew just did a spot clean. Found old finger nail clippings from previous guest
