“Our group of 8 family plus friends enjoyed the beautiful setting and comfortable home. We enjoyed kayaking at high tide and beach walks at low tide. There was available space to play games in various rooms. The many stairs (even on the first level) were a challenge to our older guests. The sunsets were magical.”

We tried the sauna, “cool” plunge, grill, seafood cooker, and really appreciated the level 2 car charger which saved us a bit on gas in our PHEV. Blue Hill is so relaxed and a quick drive to MDI.”

“The cottage was great for my family of four. My kids enjoyed the tide pools right below the house at low tide. The cottage was rustic but very clean- spotless and great location. We loved exploring Sand Beach on Deer Isle, Brooksville Farmers Market, Blue Hill Co-op, LDI lobster stand and El Frijoles. Thank you for hosting us.”

“We enjoyed our week at the rental. There are outstanding views and we enjoyed finding sea glass, starfish, and hermit crabs. The house is well stocked, which is handy due to not having. a grocery store right down the road. The view is incredible and very memorable. It is a beautiful, secluded area.”

“Beautiful property with all the amenities we needed. Hosts offered clear instructions, and they were flexible and courteous. The house is tucked away and surrounded by trees, which we loved. There’s a dog park close to the house, our pup loved that! The house was squeaky clean, there were plenty of bath towels, kitchen was fully stocked, great book 📚 selections, lots of games, beautiful outdoor space too.”

“This was the first leg of our first trip to Maine. The home was especially comfortable. The deck was sooooo perfect! we enjoyed just relaxing for hours each day. Loved the fog, the sunshine, the shade, the scenary. we couldn't have asked for anything more!!”

“Really beautiful property and would stay here again. The beds were incredibly comfortable and even though we normally sleep in a king bed, we were surprisingly comfortable in their luxurious queen bed. Very clean and had all the things you’d need for light cooking (salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee and filters). The location is very peaceful and we saw deer multiple times. The loft can be sunny in the summer so bring an eye mask if that’s an issue for you but the bedrooms were perfectly dark. The hosts were very responsive and the decor was perfect for the location. Highly recommend.”
