“We had an absolutely amazing time here- the accommodations were exactly as listed. The response time on questions was quick! There was a night we ran out of propane on the grill and it was quickly replaced the next morning, even coordinating convenient times for the owner to stop by to do so. This location was great for a quiet getaway- plenty of deer sightings, bird watching and coyote howls listening! We had an excellent time.”

“The house was perfect for my large family. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. The house has everything we needed and we felt right at home. The area was beautiful and peaceful. The neighbors and locals we met were charming. Hiking and kayaking were phenomenal. The host was very responsive to any and all questions we had. The best part was having our dogs enjoy the area with us. I can't wait to return!”

“Puffin Rock is a very special spot! We loved having the kayaks and paddle boards for all ages to enjoy. Most of us dipped in water each day for a little swim. We roasted marshmallows around the fire pit which overlooks the ocean and loved relaxing in the other wonderful sitting areas. Several of us were known to hang out for long periods of time in hammocks. We ate dinner outside every evening on the deck, all eight of us very comfortably. Also a great place for kids with all types of games available. The inside space is very spacious and open and inviting. It was our second year there and quite lovely. We also had good communication with the property managers when we had questions.”

“Our vacation at Puffin Rock was everything our family -- grandparents, adults & grandkids ages 10 down to 1 -- could have hoped for, and more. The home was perfect for us: private, easy access to the bay just a short and pleasant walk from the house; a few sets of Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay; kayaks and paddleboards; strolling and play on the pleasant beach that appeared when the tide was out; nice yard for the kids near the house; great deck for outside meals. The house was very comfortable and informal, and well-equipped. The interior layout was great, with two bedrooms on one side of the house -- great for a little privacy for one of our families which had three kids, and the other three bedrooms on the other side. Access to Acadia NP was easy enough, and we enjoyed Blue Hill, nearby shops & lobster shacks, and beautiful warm lakes even more. Mostly, we loved relaxing at Puffin Rock. Our hosts were always responsive and pleasant. Everything was great.”
