“A lovely house for a family vacation with day trips to the Acadia, Blue Hill, Stonington, and Deer Isle areas. The house was spotless and well stocked for family meals and close by to everyday amenities, cute shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sheep in the pasture yard. Communication was very timely when we had questions or concerns. We especially appreciated the guy that was sent in advance with recommendations for things in the area. While listed as pet friendly, there are several rules around bringing dogs.”

“We had a lovely time at this house - the kitchen was very well outfitted and we have many nice meals here. Seeing the sheep every morning from the living room windows was magical. We came on a particularly hot week, and the AC situation in the bedrooms wasn't ideal. With that said, Maine is usually cooler so I doubt this would be an issue for most guests.”

“The Longview Cottage was truly wonderful. The house has views to Morgan Bay - always beautiful and changing. The cottage itself is a wonder in pine, beautifully constructed and maintained creating a really perfect Maine cottage. The kitchen is large and has every convenience. The sittinig areas too are large and comfortable. The location just next to the beach at Curtis Cove makes it pretty perfect. Our stay here was relaxing and private. We truly loved it.”

It was central to all the places we wanted to go-Acadia, Ellsworth, Camden and Bar Harbor. It was our first time in Maine, and the property exceeded all expectations.
