“My family with young kids (ages 10, 8, and 5) had a magical week at King’s Landing. The views were stunning, the cabin was clean and well-stocked, and we loved the location next to Oakland House. We enjoyed both “Swim Beach” and Walker Pond, hiking up the “blue dot trail” (Lookout Point), and meals at local restaurants like TinderHearth. This spot in Maine is perfect if you want a peaceful vacation tucked away in the pine trees! We hope to be back.”

“This simple but perfect little house (technically two connected by deck) was great value. A magical waterfront location with a nice little rocky and sandy beach for a dip, the changing views of Little Deer Isle from fog to sun and back again delighted us - whether from the deck or grassy yard or beach. Our family of 3 plus a friend found the digs perfect for our needs. Basic but comfortable and just right. On the most clear night, the stars were some of the best I’ve seen in my life. Oakland House Inn next door has good food (and some great beaches to explore too). And in general, this whole area is awesome (Pugnuts for ice cream, El Frijoles for mexican, Craig Pond and Alamoosook for lake swimming, etc).”
