“Missing basic amenities like towels and soap. Had to ask them to come and clean bed, floors, and pool area. Room leading to pool had a terrible odor. Arrived 8pm on a Sat, upstairs A/C failed at 3:30am that night. We woke up to it blowing hot air with temps in the 80s at night and 90s during the day. After communicating all day on Sunday and no one coming to address it, we finally contacted Airbnb that evening. They were able to cancel the remainder of our stay. We did get a full refund, but it was not a good experience. Very much felt like they didn’t want to pay for emergency service on the weekend for the unit. Right before we left the fridge failed as well.”

“We chose this house because of the pool and bbq. It was close to relatives that we were visiting. August in FL is hot. We had a 5yr old with that that was unable to get into a dirty, non working and unserviced pool. We were willing to forgive the “old Florida smell” of the house but not being able to swim in August was just cruel. Would not recommend this house.”

“Smells like mold in the whole house patio floor have mold full with spiders in the patio bedrooms bedsheets and pillows smells like mold pool was dirty and barbecue had no full gas tank !”

“Our experience was not what we expected. The last day, around 9:15 a.m., when our check-out was at 10:00 a.m., the landscaping and pool maintenance crew entered the property without any prior notice. No one informed us which was a serious invasion of our privacy, and we were traveling with young children. The host stated that maintenance people comes once a month and they “did not realized they had guests that day”, which reflects a concerning lack of organization. The host requires either a $500 refundable security deposit or a $20 per night non-refundable damage fee, which is collected through a platform outside of Airbnb. I find it unfair to charge a non-refundable fee for possible damages. We left the property spotless, clean, organized, and in the same condition we found it. The post advertises a “screened patio,” but the pool area is not screened at all, mosquitoes and bugs are all around outdoor. After reporting these issues to Airbnb, the post still the same for future guests.”

“We booked this property specifically because it was advertised with a pool, but unfortunately the pool was unusable and potentially unsafe throughout our entire stay. The hosts did not inform us of the issue until approximately 1.5 hours after check-in. We were then told the pool had black algae and had been heavily treated with chemicals. Our friends could have been hurt since we weren’t told till significantly after check in. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-through. During our 5-day stay, we repeatedly received messages saying they were “checking on it” or would provide updates, but no meaningful updates or resolution ever came. The pool remained unusable for the duration of our trip. Without the pool, the property was not worth the price we paid, especially considering that this was a major advertised amenity and one of the primary reasons we selected the home. The hosts’ handling of the situation only made matters wor”

“Walking into the house, it had a odor. The floors were disgusting. We had to mop three times and still dirt was coming out of the water. The grout on the tiles need to be scrubbed. It was black. There was a nail on the side of the nightstand. the cabinets were dirty. The vents were dirty. The bathrooms were dirty. I rented before I’m never encountered this ever. There was no hot water. There’s no soap in the soap dispensers there were stains on the couch I would not rent this place ever again.”

“We were very disappointed with our stay. We specifically chose this property because of the pool/spa and arcade game, which were major factors in our booking decision. Unfortunately, the pool and spa were not usable during our entire stay, and despite reporting the issue, they were never repaired. The arcade game also did not work at any point during our visit. The condition of the property was also concerning. The furniture was heavily worn with peeling upholstery, several electrical outlets did not work, and there were multiple maintenance issues that should have been addressed before guests arrived. My family, especially my daughter and mother, look forward to this annual trip every year, so it was very disappointing not to have access to the amenities that were advertised and influenced our decision to book this home. Nothing was fixed or repaired while we were there. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests.”

“In all Julie's place was beautiful however when we got there, it was super cold in the unit and I thought something was off as I started to get undressed to take my shower. Julie did not have no type of hot water in her entire unit then on top of that because we was going on a cruise we needed a wash in the dryer. Well guess what we could not use the washer and dryer at all. All the gas in the entire apartment was off. We cannot even warm up food in the stove.”

“To start off with definitely not worth 1200.00 house needs upgrades and maintenance, a lot of stains on walls , oven handle was broken off which caused us to get burnt after trying to open it ! Pool must of not been checked as a lot of us suffered irritated skin after swimming in it , on private places on our body’s . Neighbors were ok except a lot of marijuana usage which led to our space smelling like weed the whole time , community pool was nice wish it were bigger . All in all house was not worth that much money , if Mabey they fix all the broken things in it and painted , replace oven , blender , towel hangers in the bathroom , shower curtain holders etc ….. even couch in living room was broken then mabey worth it and have pool checked and cleaned . House was big and comfortable just need better cleaning , upgrades and maintenance ! We did have injuries and irritated skin which were very uncomfortable . We are continuing to wait on what management will Do .”
