“Jacqueline, our host was amazing. Very prompt, friendly, and professional. However, the house was very dirty, worn, and had very few basic supplies. I would definitely want Jacqueline as my host but would never want to stay in that particular house again.”

“This very short stay was nothing short of a disaster. The WiFi was completely wrong we actually had to find the WiFi box and tell Julie what the WiFi actually was. The kitchen had nothing in it to cook which is not as described. The place is very worn with damaged furniture everywhere. We had people coming into the property while we were out which is unacceptable making us not feel safe. On the 2nd night at 1am Julie cancelled the booking saying it was because the place was no longer available. We were basically kicked out in a foreign country with no warning and no help from Julie. She just happily left us stranded in the middle of the night. We since found out this was meant to be cancelled before we stayed but she just chose not to. She has no clue on the property she rents out and treated us appallingly.”

“The resort area was nice, but there were a few disappointing aspects from this listing . The private pool was dirty when we arrived, and the chlorine level was so strong that it was uncomfortable. The property also requires a large, non-refundable deposit, which didn’t seem reasonable. We spent very little time at the house and made sure to leave it exceptionally clean, so the extra deposit felt unnecessary. Another inconvenience was that the resort does not accept tap-to-pay, so be sure to bring a physical payment method. Also, the line to enter the gated community can get quite long during busy times, so it’s something to keep in mind when coming and going.”

“when first arriving host didn’t really give details that you had to check in at a different office instead just provided a lock code for the door which didn’t work the first two days. The house was fairly clean, but it was in clear need of an update or maintenance. There’s duct tape on the steps making loose step boards, the downstairs and upstairs hallway, bathroom showerhead we’re having constant issues. At one point, the ceiling was dripping water on the dining room table, and we don’t know who, but at one point the air conditioning was completely shut off on us (not by us), and we have several asthmatics and others who have health conditions that can be induced by hot temperatures for a prolonged amount of time on different days. they was never disclosed that with each guest in the house you had to pay a $10 fee for a access bracelet for amenities FOR EACH GUEST. (we had 7 people in our group which besides getting to the house we didn’t use the pool or anything so that was a waste)”

“Our reservation was canceled 6 hours prior to check in. We drove 18 hours for this trip. It was super stressful trying to rebook another Airbnb last minute!”
