“Pro: great location, nice deck off back, sofa & beds were good, wifi was good, plenty of towels. Con: really need to update cookware - glad I brought a pan from home with me, no foil/plastic wrap/containers - anything at all to wrap leftovers or to use over the baking sheets that were in bad condition, no wine bottle opener! - I messaged the property manager & they said they'd put it on the list, but that didn't help me as I was sitting down to dinner with a bottle of unopened wine;(”

“The home was comfortable, clean, and in a quiet area. Overall, we had a good stay. The main issue was the bathroom description: the listing described two full bathrooms, but the hallway bathroom had a sink and shower/tub without a toilet, so the home effectively had only one toilet. That should be clarified for future guests because it affects convenience. Other than that, the property was as expected.”

“We had a great time at this property. We ended up having an issue with the internet (which required a technician) but everything was resolved and communication was smooth. We wanted to disconnect for the weekend but wanted to make sure the issue wasn’t left unresolved for the next guest. The Hot tub was a toasty 104 no complaints!”

“We loved our stay at this property! It worked perfectly for everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets for chilly nights. The space was great and the view was beautiful! The dock was nice and the outdoor lounge chairs were the perfect addition to enjoy the sunset over the water and to watch the stars. It was perfect for our weekend away with a large group!”

“My family and I had a truly amazing stay and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Having our cabin right on Big Bear Lake was the best part — many of the rooms offered beautiful views. There are also many restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, gas stations, and marinas within a very short distance. The cabin was spacious but cozy and made it really easy to enjoy the lake and unwind for a few days. The layout is also perfect for families or larger groups, with plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms so everyone has space to spread out and be comfortable. The private boat dock was another huge perk and made it super convenient to get right out on the water for kayaking. The host was extremely responsive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. They truly care about making sure guests have the best experience possible, which made everything feel effortless and welcoming from start to finish. We’d very gladly stay here again.”

“Place was really nice neighborhood was cute and walkable to axe throwing and a nice diner. My only eh was I feel the pet fee was a bit much.. It was listed in the description, but was not included in the price I paid through Air BNB when I did put that I would be bringing my dog. The description was listed as $35 per night per dog +tax and I was charged $40 a night... I stayed 3 nights. They told me after they accepted my booking and I paid with Air BNB that I only paid the pet fee for 1 night and that I needed to pay the additional $80 through their website. Even though this bothered me it wasnt a big deal.. but be aware when booking this may happen to you.”

“It was a beautiful location, easy to check in and out, and close to everything. However we found some food under the couch and everything felt a little dirty. The regular bedroom bed felt like it was going to break and the fire place was broken”

“I had high hopes for this stay, but unfortunately my experience did not meet expectations. Communication from the host was not proactive, which made it difficult to address concerns during the stay. Upon arrival, the house had a noticeable foul odor and did not appear to be properly cleaned. Several items throughout the home were broken, and key amenities—such as the WiFi—were not functioning at all. Additionally, the property did not match the listing photos, which was disappointing. There were also rat traps present, which made the environment feel uncomfortable. The game room was advertised as a feature, but none of the games were working. Additionally, the stair rail on the second floor was broken, with loose railing poles, which is extremely unsafe—especially for families with children. This property is not child-friendly at all.Overall, this stay did not reflect what was advertised, and I hope improvements are made for future guests.”
