Anna Maria Vacations's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“This Airbnb was just okay. It was great for the convenience of the beach and being able to walk there. As for the unit itself; we first had a difficult time locating it. My family arrived at night and the address provided included a unit number, but on the door there are letters. That was a bit confusing at first. They only provide the bare minimum. Cheap paper towels, toilet paper, etc. the unit was mostly clean with the exception of the ants on the kitchen counter and the shower having soap scum on the walls from the previous renters. The beds were very comfortable.”airbnb

“The location was good, it was walking distance to the beach but had to cross the main road which was very very busy. The size of the house was good and accommodated 10 people comfortably. The pool area was very nice. The floors were really dirty when we arrived, the kids feet turned black within an hour of walking around. 2 of the showers had mold, one on the shower curtain and the other on the shade. The dishwasher was unusable due to the amount of mold in it. The washer and dryer is always nice to have on vacation but unfortunately the dryer kept leaving black marks all over everyone’s laundry. In one of the twin bedrooms in between the mattress and box springs there are large pieces of plywood I assume to make the bed sturdy, but my daughter his her knee on it and got cut. Overall we had a great time during our stay but you can tell that the house/furniture could use some TLC.. For the price I would expect a sparkling clean house and usable appliances.”airbnb

“The home itself is great (the angelfish)—excellent layout, great location, dog-friendly. Unfortunately, our experience with the property management company was disappointing. The two rear bedrooms stayed between 78° and 81°F for the first part of our stay (verified by our baby monitor), despite repeated reports and conflicting information about the thermostat. They wanted to control it at 72, then 69 after stern pushback from us. This is not disclosed in their rules. After Airbnb became involved, an A/C unit was provided (halfway thru our stay). We encountered inconsistent communication about basic amenities, overflowing trash upon arrival, and were initially told no vacuum was available. The vacuum finally provided on the last day of our stay did nothing. Most concerning, management later offered us $200 on the condition that we not leave a negative review about them. I declined and have retained the written communication documenting that offer.”airbnb

“The home needs a lot of attention. There were several pieces of furniture that needed to be fixed and repaired. My son who is only 10 went through the outside chair and you could not sit on any of the ones around the table outside or inside as they were all loose. The twin beds were also very loose and about to fall down. Maintenance did come and fix all of that so we had something to sit in. The sofa couch the mattress is missing so it is very wobbly. The pavers around the pool are broken and a lot of missing tiles. There were live roaches every day we were there inside the home. There was blood slung on the bathroom walls behind the toilet. There is dust caked on all of the fans and in one of the secondary bedrooms it looks like someone had their feet all over the walls. The home needs new furniture paint, and the pool needs a lot of attention as well as outdoor furniture. they did send someone out to mop the floors twice as our feet were black upon arrival.”airbnb

“While everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. We do wish that we were able to check in earlier considering NO ONE stayed in the place 2 days prior to our check in date. We were told by one person we’d be allowed to then someone else said no we had to wait til 4 considering the place was already available. (I watched the unit next door be cleaned and it only took 3 hours to be ready. Checkout from 10, cleaners get there 10:10 and everything was done around 12:30-1) so you should be allowed to check in earlier given those circumstances. Outside furniture was pretty icky. I recommend brining extra pillows and blankets concerning they only have a set few pillows for the bed and just the blankets to sleep with. The home was very nice and a cute set up.”airbnb

“Overall the place was a good option! We especially liked the third floor enclosed porch. However, as soon as we got there the elevator quit working and they had to come out and fix it. Most of the electronic games did not work and they came out to look at them but no resolution. Also, we rented a golf cart but were unable to charge it in or near the garage. It tripped the breaker. Also, there is no place to eat outside, even though a picnic table was in the pictures.”airbnb

“The stars I gave were for the location and the potential of this place. It is a beautiful home in a great location, but terribly managed. The place was absolutely filthy at check in. I’m talking broken glass by the pool, stains all over the furniture and walls, unmopped floors, etc. There were even brown stains on the bathroom walls that could be wiped off with very little effort. The carpet is dingy and stained like the furniture. The management company said they were “busy” but gave a couple of dates that someone would contact me and they never did. If this listing was $1,500 and maintained this way- ok. But a listing this price should at least come with a mopped floor and clean bathrooms.”airbnb

“The house is very nice and the pool was a huge plus. Check-in was rough. I got a text stating the house was ready and available for early check in. When I got to the home, the cleaners were inside which made it awkward. We left and the home wasn’t ready until an hour after the check in time(we didn’t get in the house until 5pm)”airbnb

“Beautiful Place, nice and clean, good location. Right on the beach. If noise bothers you this place is not the best. Lots of traffic noise and band plays at nearby bar until about 9:45pm every night. Representatives need to make certain that the correct door code is given to the guest so said guests doesn’t have to haul their luggage up and down a flight of steps in the rain because the rental company doesn’t know what the door code is nor did they know what the key box code on the wall was. Not very impressive for this vacation rental company. Hopefully no one else experiences this.”airbnb

“I was very disappointed that the pool was not private. It was misleading and I would not have booked it had I known that. Most places have some kitchen amenities such as foil or plastic wrap but this place was bare.”airbnb
