First Chair Destinations's guest rating in Vermont of 4.59 is below average and may adversely impact performance. My friends and I had a great stay at the may farm! We were able to get in easily and everything was as described. We were a little worried about the noise issues we heard but had no problems, and each room has a noise canceling machine. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed the property very much!

I like the layout out and the overall character of a the home for a Vermont cabin. There was ample parking enought space to host and in the summer it wasn’t too hot despite not having any ac in the home. It has all the amenities listed like the pond, hot tub, and the fireplaces. The only thing is the pond is not swimmable as there are some frogs and lizards and other creatures in the water. The hot tub was crystal clear and clean for our arrival. I I did however have a couple issues throught the stay. When we first came in there were ants all over the kitchen and cabinets as well as a mice droppings in a couple of cabinets. These were reported and the exterminator had came a couple days later he wasn’t friendly either. He said “one more night what’s the problem”. It wasn’t til then I was informed there was a previous infestation less than a month ago. With that the local support was hard to reach

So much room is such a beautiful setting. Easy to feel at home while soaking in the view. Front porch was a great place for a nap.

We enjoyed staying at this unique silo house in Dorset. It was located close to Manchester. The property was lovely and in a very quiet neighborhood. As noted in other reviews the 3rd floor bedroom was two narrow flights of stairs down to the bathroom and roomy living room area. Not mentioned was the fact that the bedrooms did not have doors which was fine for us but surprising. The kitchen was margianally equipped for cooking but cute and servicable for breakfast and coffee. A fun short term stay!
