“I rented the Frio cabin. The locale is great and the cabins appear just as they do online. But very basic. If you just need a place to lay your head this will work just fine. I was anticipating more glamp than camp.”

“When we arrived we noticed there was no hot water. A technician came out and let us know they did not have the part to fix it immediately and would have to come back. Birdy did not offer us any additional accommodations the first night without hot water. The 2nd day I had to reach out to see what the update on fixing the situation was. There was never anyone reaching out on behalf of the company to check in. I had to keep asking. Someone finally came to fix the hot water issue on our last day. In addition it was dusty. The cleaning company was still “cleaning” when we arrived during our arrival time. We had a major bug problem inside the residence. After checking out, we left an item and reached out to see if they found it. They said they did and could ship it. It has been over a week and a half and they still have not shipped it or provided any additional information. While the property could be nice they have a lot to work on!”

“I booked the Llano unit in Fredericksburg TX for two nights. There were several issues: missing curtains and window coverings, also curtains that were not the full length of the window, a broken divider between the sleeping area and sitting area, a shower head that was hard to reach, rods placed too low to the ground to hang anything other than a shirt or folded pair of pants, visible dust bunnies and bugs surrounding the feet of the couch, ceiling fans stuck on the high setting, overhead lights that did not work, a broken tv with a distorted picture, and bird droppings all over the entrance and back patio. I was moved to the Colorado unit. It was much better but still missing a full window curtain, and I was greeted by a huge roach on the bed! However, it was 1am and too late to make another complaint or move to another unit. Aesthetically, these units look great in photos, but they definitely need an overhaul! I was extremely disappointed for the price that I paid.”
