“They moved our apartment last minute. We were supposed to have a balcony and then moved to an apartment without a balcony. Otherwise location was great. A few blocks from reading terminal and clean.”

“Very, very noisy location. You have to deal with listening to screaming vagrants outside. The location is right on a major highway. The neighborhood is great, but the noise was just too much!”

“Abode was a great place to stay and an impeccable deal for the nights myself and 4 other guests stayed. Please note the noise at night as it’s by a highway, but they provide earplugs and is generally a non issue speaking as a New Yorker. Would definitely look to stay here again on a future Philly trip.”

“Good location overall, but there were a few issues during our stay. When we arrived, the entry codes didn't work, and it took about 30 minutes to get inside after repeatedly trying the door. Every time we returned, it took another 3–5 minutes of jiggling the door before it would unlock, which was uncomfortable since people, including someone experiencing homelessness, were often nearby while we were trying to get in. The property also wasn't as clean as expected. There were coffee stains on the counter, a random earbud on the floor, conditioner residue in the shower, and the couch pillows had large red stains. The host did offer to send someone to clean, which we appreciated, but as two women already staying there, we weren't comfortable having someone enter during our stay. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay because the location was great very walkable with plenty to do nearby. Just be aware that it's on a busy main street, so it can be noisy and be open to foot traffic.”
