“We rented Martin’s place for a multigenerational family get together and it was perfect… We fished off the dock and got plenty of sunfish and catfish… It was all catch and release with good fun! We also went to the outlet malls and the casinos nearby so everyone in the group had some good fun. The house had everything we needed and was beautiful… The campfire area was perfect and we spent every night there. The hot tub was also a nice plus as was the movie room… We would definitely come back!”

“Our stay was nice. We enjoyed the space and amenities. They could do a better job cleaning the bar b que grill and bathrooms. But overall stay was very enjoyable. There is a lake with kayaks right across the street where you can rent kayaks and there is a beachball space to play.”

“While the Emerald Lakes community was super nice and the hot tub was a huge plus, our actual stay was pretty awful due to basic lack of upkeep and cleaning. When we got there, we found garbage left out by the previous guests that was literally covered in maggots and the hosts never even bothered to clear it. Inside wasn't much better as the whole house was super dusty and the shower walls were caked in yellow soap scum. The grill igniter didn't work either and we had to manually light it. Whenever we used the microwave, power would literally go off in half the house. We had to deal with a repair guy coming by during our trip to fix oven door glass that prior guests broke. Whenever we messaged the host, we’d just get an automated-sounding "we'll get back to you shortly" reply and then hear nothing for hours. Great location, but definitely wouldn't stay here again until they figure out basic house maintenance and host communication.”
