“Good: The home was spacious, the hot tub and pool were very clean, the area was relatively private. Unfortunate: The air hockey table didn't work, and the foosball table had some missing handles. Bad: We had to cut our stay early because there was a bat problem. We found one in the shower. Then in the middle of the night, one came out of a vent in the bedroom, and another appeared in the living room. We told the host the next day and they said they'd let maintence know. We didn't hear anything else from them by the evening, so we left. When we told the host we cleared out a full day early, they were more responsive, apologized, and refunded us for that last day.”

“We loved the yard with the creek running along the back. Over all we were happy with the place. But to note a couple things if you plan on making your own meals especially if you are a big group (we were 12) the kitchen just has the minimum basics. No tinfoil or plastic wrap. There was also only 2 dish towels which is not enough beings there is not a dish washer. And if you are there in the summer months you may want to bring fans for the bedrooms...the downstairs was very comfortable but bedrooms were stuffy with the doors shut.”

“Very rustic place. I think the property needs deep cleaned especially if it sits awhile in between rentals. Hot tub was nice.”

“This cottage was exactly as described. It's tucked right between the road and a stream out back, and the steady sound of the water made for a really relaxing stay. The yard has these great oversized natural boulders, perfect for sitting around the fire pit out front. Everything inside was clean and matched the listing, wifi worked fine the whole time, and the hot tub on the deck was a great bonus. Location is convenient too - about 15 minutes to downtown Ohiopyle and 10 minutes to Nemacolin. Only downside was the host wasn't able to accommodate a late checkout, even though the following day was showing available - I ended up having to book that extra night just to avoid disrupting my travel plans. Otherwise, it was a great stay, and I'd rent again next time we're in the area.”
