“The hot tub and grill are great amenities! However, there were some issues. The table only had one chair. When I asked for a second, I was provided a chair with a seat higher than the table. Additionally, there is no storage and not enough towels were provided.”

“This little Hobbit house was adorable. Beautiful and peaceful, plus the hot tub was relaxing. However, we really could have used more pillows and blankets, and we never heard from the host when we asked.”

“Amazing cabin, very peaceful property and neighborhood. only one complaint i have is there is no Sofa bed as promised so two people in our group had to sleep on the couch.”

“Beautiful natural landscape view from well maintained hot tub. Easy to find, located on a busy road with fast cars. Otherwise a very quiet neighborhood and great location to rafting and Ohiopyle Park. Please note if you plan on cooking bring everything you need to cook, including salt, pepper, oil, etc. only kitchenware supplied.”

“The space is advertised, and Ohiopyle itself is great. The problem we ran into is that we never received a code to unlock our room. They do have a number to call after hours, but there isn't any cell service in the location. We could have done a wifi call, except that there isn't any public wifi and we had to get the password from someone else staying at the location in order to call. We weren't alone in having this issue - two other parties who arrived after the office closed either had been provided incorrect codes or had not received a code.”

“Very cute tiny home, pictures made sleeping area appear bigger than it was but that wasn’t a big deal still a queen size bed. We were not informed of the AC not being operational which made sleeping in the top a little hot and hard to sleep.”

“A substantial quantity of rodent poop was found in the bottom drawer of the sink next to the washer and dryer. Mice traps and poison were left out behind a cubby counter so that they weren’t directly visible, but could be easily access. I feel that they should be required to inform guests if there is poison laid out in order to prevent children or pets accident consuming it. To put it simply this is a safety issue.”

“We were moved from the “hobbit house” to the “mountain majesty,” and this is what happened. 1. The "mountain majesty" was not cleaned properly. The carpet was eerily and mysteriously damp, the dishes were not cleaned, and the bedding smelled awful. We had to wash and clean with our own cleaning supplies, all of those things. 2. The fireplace was unusable. We reached out and what was offered was a maintenance worker to come look at it. This is so frustrating being that we were on vacation and who wants a stranger interrupting while you're trying to enjoy the already stressful time? 3. The hobbit house was the whole reason we drove almost 10 hours with our dogs. We're huge lord of the rings fans and this change was not only disappointing as mentioned but devastating. We could have rented a house closer to our home if that's all it was to be. 4. The hot tub stopped warming up last night. On out last night here. My husband had to reset the breaker himself after no response from host”

“Unfortunately, this listing isn't completely accurate. There is only one sofa in the living room, there is no pull out bed in the bedroom, the hot tub is pretty beat up, and it is definitely not a modern, renovated kitchen. The place could use some TLC - the cabinets had old, ripped contact paper, and the vinyl floor was bending and cracking in places. The windows are like old RV windows, which we couldn't figure out how to open. We are all for a rustic cabin in the woods, but this definitely fell way short compared to others. A lot can be forgiven with friendly customer service, but sad to say that was lacking as well. Not worth the price we paid for it :/”
