“It is a really cute place, but if your neighbors are early risers, so will you! It’s basically an old house that has been made into apartments and you can hear the conversations of your neighbors through the walls. Other than that, it is in a convenient location and it is clean and comfortable. You may want to note there is not a living room in this apartment. Just a kitchen, bedroom amd bathroom. But we didn’t spend much tome at home, so that didn’t bother us.”

“Nick was quick to respond during booking when I asked him to clarify conflicting rules regarding pets. Pets were allowed. Really nice looking house, great park and playground 2 blocks away. Quick drive to Cedar Point. In the hallway during check-in, I could hear a loud grinding noise. Upon opening the door to our room, we discovered it’s emanating from the HVAC vent in our room. I sent a video to Nick right away to let him know but he never responded during the stay. We had to manually set the HVAC fan speed to low and close the bedroom pocket door so it was quiet enough to sleep at night. Also, bathroom sink faucet was completely detached from countertop. Again, no response when I told him. It did still work at least. Overall, this could be an amazing Airbnb but it definitely needs a few quality control checks.”

“Overall, the places was pretty nice. We did have a few hiccups (upon check-in we found mold growing in the basement on a few walls, the water to the bathtub was shut off due to a leaky faucet, which is not a big deal, but we weren’t warned beforehand and figured it out ourselves, there was no sponges to clean dishes, washcloths or hand towels). Nick was responsive to our messages regarding the mold, and there was nothing we could do about it in the moment. However, it left a bunch of adults to camp in the living room as we could not fit in bunk beds which was not ideal in the moment. Otherwise the house looked as advertised and the hot tub was nice.”

“Positives: The place was cute and in a great area. It was walkable to almost everything we wanted to do. Negatives: When we walked in, the vents were making a loud humming / knocking sound. We were able to get it to stop by turning off the AC/Heat. Luckily the weather didn’t require us using either during our stay. The baseboards were dirty with dust and hair, and the linens had dog hair on them. It smelled a bit like dog. There’s was also a large, smashed spider on the bathroom wall that nobody cleaned up. There was also hair in the shower drain.”

“CLEAN, bright, quiet, comfortable. Walkable to restaurants, nightlife, and jet express. Will definitely stay again. Some things that would be helpful to know especially if you are arriving late. Key fob is needed for entry into exterior doors. It is attached to the key ring. Even though entry directions were very clear, this was not noted. While coffee pods were provided, you may want to bring additional especially if you drink multiple cups a day. No sugar/sweeter or creamer pods were provided. Also no bottled water. I am noting this because other places do provide so if you stay in Sandusky often you might expect this. The WIFI posted on the refrigerator is the correct one. Checkout is at 10 am even though reservation said 11. Once the reservation was confirmed all subsequent communications noted the 10am time.”
