“Good place to stay, host is very respectful, we will stay with them again”

“Stayed here from Jan to April for my last clinical of Grad school. The apt was fine for my needs since I wasn’t there much due to the long clinical hours. I had expected to head home on 4/3 but they added a half clinical day. I contacted the host as soon as I knew this asking to get an additional 2 hours to check out. Was told they couldn’t guarantee that and to contact them again the night before-which I did and got the same answer we can’t guarantee a late checkout-check with us in the morning. I had an early AM start since it was a half day and couldn’t wait for an answer. However, they were willing for me to pay for an extra night instead of granting a late check out-which doesn’t make sense. Students don’t get paid for clinical. This host was not willing to work with me asking for an extra 2 hours. I will not recommend this host to other students and request this host be removed from the University’s list. I have never had an issue with any other host like this.”

“Upon arrival I noticed the apartment complex was not very clean. There was dirt and hair on the floor of complex. Once inside I noticed the sheets were dirty, hair was on the bed sheets, mildew/ mold in the tub/ shower. The floor was coming up in the kitchen and the dishes were dirty. The ceiling had yellow stains with the paint and drywall peeling away. During the winter when it snowed the complex was not plowed, sidewalks were not shoveled or salted. The onsite gym was not super clean and equipment was old. I would not recommend this apartment and feel that there are a lot of other places to stay in Columbus that are cheaper and cleaner.”
