The place itself is good but has issues with how it is managed. 3 days into our trip I noticed that the sink was not filled with water when we woke up and raised to the management who said they would send someone to fix it. We got back later that afternoon and found the entire apartment flooded and no one was sent to look into it. After several calls they finally sent someone and agreed to move us into a new place. There were several amenities in my original reservation that were then missing in the one I moved to: - king bed to queen bed - no dishwasher - no elevator , had to climb 3 floors - no balcony - no bathtub In addition to these missing amenities i also had to spend a day on my vacation coordinating between Airbnb , the host to raise the flooding issue. I had to then move all my belongings through a completely flooded apartment to a new apartment and wash all my clothes that were wet with sewage water.a lot of this could be avoided if the management company took some actions.

The condo is very centrally located to downtown Kona, next to plenty of restaurants, shops, and anything else you might need. Parking space is a plus, since you're most likely renting a car on BI. Listed amenities are accurate. Walls are a bit thin with the giants stomping upstairs, but bring earplugs and you'll find it all mildly amusing. Easy check-in/out.

As previous reviews mention, the bed IS very comfortable that it made it difficult to want to get out of bed in the mornings! The unit has all the basics you would need to make your stay feel like home. Beach gear provided for a smooth time at the beach! Elevators in the building make it easy to go up and down with luggage. Not much of a view from the balcony/lani other than a decent sunset in the evenings - enjoyable after a long day exploring Kona. Noise was mid-level during our stay due to street construction occurring during night hours with the occasional loud vehicle driving by. We did okay with the noise and were able to sleep throughout the night. You need to walk along that busy road for one minute to get to the street that will take you down towards the Kona Inn Shopping Village. Overall, a good, comfortable stay and would stay here again.
