“Location, beds and provided beach gear was great. Space was smaller and more dated than we expected. We noticed repairs with zip ties, and the fridge door clicked an popped when opening. The front door was heavy and closed fast, in an attempt to keep it from slamming (as requested) in squished my fingers pretty bad. Complex is quiet and tricky with smaller children.”

“This stay was central for our Kona explorations. It is a but a mile or less away by walk to the downtown beach and lively evening scene. The apartment itself was quite clean and well-maintained. Free parking and an allotted spot close to the apartment made it convenient to get in and out. The lanai doors were hard to open as they seem worn out from the weather (quite common in tropical weather).”

“Overall I would rate this place 3/5 stars just because the view Is spectacular. Upon arriving to our unit there were dead bugs covering the entire floor of the hallway to the bathroom all the way into the shower in the main suite. Cleaning is not the way you want to start your vacation. While booking this place keep in mind that there will be lizards everywhere you turn. The a/c is only in the bedroom and does not cool you off at night. The bedroom ended up being our main living space for the time we were there. We luckily booked 2 different places during our trip. If you enjoy the heat and critters this is to place for you.”

“The swimming pool was great and check in was mostly smooth but was hard to find late at night with Google Maps directions. It took us to the neighboring hotel. There are also other things that could be fixed to improve this stay. There is a short window for changing reservations and you must stay for a minimum of 2 nights. The room was also clean otherwise but there were also several bugs we saw inside the unit. There is also limited parking so you will likely need to park on the street.”
